A Mode Vs B Mode: Can you start on a 600cc Motorcycle?

  • Today I show the difference between A mode and B mode on a 2019 GSXR 600 Motorcycle. The difference in power and how this makes a 600 cc bike much more manageable for a beginner rider.
After making this video I wish I would have used B mode to start with. Now I am much more confident to advise a new rider to get A 600cc sport bike over a 300cc "starter bike"
Just take your time as always and put in B Mode every time you ride and you will fall in love with this bike.

Took me awhile to learn to be loose on the bars when I first started. I used to death grip those bad boys when I got nervous. That's the #1 thing to remember especially if you start on a 600 because staying lose will prevent whisky throttle and help the bike handle smoother 👍

I just got back into riding after 5 and a half years, only been riding for just about two weeks now, Started back on a hyosung gt650r (use to ride a cbr 125) and i find that it's very easy to start back on a 600cc+ bike, the only real difficult thing at first was the much higher weight of a bigger bike. once you get use to that as long as you treat the bike with respect and don't be an idiot then a 600cc learning experience can be great :) awesome series btw. been subbed for a while.

i started two days ago on a 2005 gsx-r 600, never rode a sport bike before and my only experience was an old puch below 50cc automatic 20 years ago and a 1 minute ride on a automatic 500cc scooter like a month ago
i had no one to show me the ropes other than youtube and the first corner was a bit scary but i drove all day and had 0 problems (other than back pain 😂)
