Hi, I'm looking at Long Beach and will be a transfer student. What are the living options for upper class students?
you can either dorm on campus or find an apartment off campus!
Not to be annoying since you addressed it, but I am from san Diego and im coming there this fall as a freshman and really want to bring my car. Sooooo, I do want to bring my car but I am able to park on residential streets? Also did you do any meal plans?
Last, do you know how much the parking tickets usually are?
Chloe Sullivan you can park on some residential streets but it’s very risky! Since the people in the area know that a lot of students do that they frequently check! I know a lot of my friends did get tickets and they are usually around $50 I want to say! In regards to the meal plans I did the one with 10 meals per week because I kept a good amount of food in my room!!

Chloe Sullivan I brought my car last year and it was pain with the parking but it is possible. There’s usually parking available next to the carpenter center early mornings and around 7pm.
I have a question, what was your gpa/sat and the classes you took during High school to get into CSULB? Please reply, I really want to get into CSULB and I’m a junior and need to know if I’m on track and if I’m taking the right classes. I’ve only taken English Honors 2 and AP Psychology for the honors/ap classes. Next year I’m taking AP World History and AP Bio. I have a 4.14 GPA from Sophomore til now. Since CSU’s only count 10-12 grade, correct me if I’m wrong. What do I need to do in order to have a high chance in getting in your college? Also I haven’t taken my SAT, I will take it during summer. Anyways thank you!

What is the difference b/w Los Cerritos and Los Alamitos? How did you choose?
los cerritos and los alamitos are pretty much the same! so really it doesn't matter which one you pick! they are the traditional style dorms and are the oldest ones on campus!
Arent you worried about student loans with all those costs? I have a hard time getting a single scholarship
I am really lucky and fortunate that my parents are actually paying for my college so I don’t have to worry about loans! I’m sure if you’re looking for a scholarship, you’ll get one. You just have to do plenty of research!
Are the mattresses in csulb dorms Twin Beds or Twin XL?
they are twin XL!!
What is the difference in hillside and Parkside?

Is beachside closer to the beach by any chance?
Beachside is not close to the beach unfortunately! It’s a couple blocks away from campus!
Are their a lot of freshmen in the dorms? Also, is their a big freshman population on campus?
Pretty much most of the dorms are populated by freshmen! And I think there is equal distribution with each “grade” on campus! I’m not sure of the exact numbers haha
