There’s a difference between glitter and bling. The bride knew exactly what she wanted. She kept saying “glitter”, it was everyone else who was interpreting that to mean “bling”. The dress she picked was perfection. So beautiful on her! The perfect “glittery” dress ✨
i thought the same too! i was like, were they not hearing her? she keeps saying GLITTER haha im glad she was able to find her dress
You said it exactly!
Absolutely! This is similar to my wedding dress so I knew exactly what she meant! I was like "why can't they find glittery tulle in all of that!!??"
With you all the way. Not sure why people thought it was a bridal communication error. The consultants weren't listening to glitter all over and kept bringing her garish bling on top. Over and over.
*edit for phone fat thumbs
That's the point! And the bride did the correct thing choosing herself.
She stated glitter & sparkle all over. She was clear. Not heavy bling on top. Glad she found it herself 💖
Yeah. She said very clearly about what’s she want. It exactly what she’s want and same as what I think.
Her Mother said BLING.
I was actually at Amber’s wedding & I’ve known her since high school! The dress she went with was 100% the Amber I’ve known for all these years!
Oh curious as to how she's doing, these episodes seem quite old.
She looked absolutely gorgeous
How lovely!
HOLY CRAP! I dang near spat my coffee clear 'cross the room when I heard Amber say she was from Coby! My family family moved to Minden when I was 5, then to just behind the Wagon Wheel Motel in Lutterworth when I was 12. Small world! LOL
Please pass along my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the adorable couple. Cheers! ❤🍾🥂
Awe that's so kool!! I know she had to look beautiful 🥰🥰
I couldn't handle someone else "shopping" for me for such an important event. I'd want to look myself...
SAME!💯❤️👗
Same! I’m in australia and when I shopped for my dress, I went through the racks. No way no is anyone picking my dress for me hahaha
Same in Wales, UK. I looked through the entire store putting tags on ones I wanted to try and then they brought them to me. I would feel like if I didn't get to see them, I could miss out on a perfect dress that they wouldn't pick for me.
They are consultants. Picking out dresses the bride likes is kinda their job😐
@@user-xe1nr6er5q Yeah, but the consultant has known me for 5 minutes and there are tons of dresses. They can "consult", sure. But I want to browse myself.
The entourage's reaction on every single dress is just heart melting...such a supportive entourage✨
I am glad she found her dress. sometimes people cant say what they mean and others wouldn't understand until they actually see the vision live. good for her. fabulous.
She said glitter, she was clear and chose glitter. They were bringing her non glitter.
She was saying sparkle & glitter all over. Not heavy bling on top.
@@gab6918 Her Mother said she loves BLING.
@@Vampyre82 But the bride said glitter, several times. The consultant should have listened to the bride, not the mom.
She described her dream dress perfectly. She literally said TULLE AND GLITTER over and over again.
They just decided not to listen and pay attention to what she wanted.
She never once said BLING.
She said GLITTER.
Huge difference.
They really need to do better with paying attention to what the bride is saying and asking for.
Needless to say The dress SHE picked was perfect and exactly what she envisioned. Absolutely beautiful bride and dress ✨
I agree, they kept bringing dresses that had too much bling on the top. The dress she chose was an obvious choice.
It's because mom said, "She loves bling!" And the consultant ran with that.
You'd make a great sales person.
@@jenniferm.4412 yes but the mom is not the bride.
@@samtapia8739 Obviously not. I stated exactly what happened. Mom said bling and the consultant ran with it. It's in the video. You're assuming I was backing the consultant when I was explaining why there was confusion.
I love the ppl she brought with her. They were so supportive and didn’t put her down in anyway. Didn’t make her feel like the dresses she had on were bad in anyway. I love that
I love how supportive her friends and family are!!
The consultant didn’t listen to the bride. The bride clearly said that the sparkle needs to go below the waist, down into the skirt, and a big princess ball gown. The consultant kept pulling dresses with smaller skirts without glitter on the skirt, then couldn’t understand why the bride rejected the dresses. Oy!
Obviously dresses like she wants are not in budget 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
Can we celebrate that this episode wasn't framed as 'We will see what we have in your size'. They had options and didn't body shame her!
Thanks to this Mom, she saved the day with a pep talk, reassurance and support. What an inspiration this lady is.
It’s so nice to see a family that fully supports the bride. :)
She picked the perfect dress for her body shape. She picked something with much cleaner lines and with a lot less bling than others thought she wanted. I agree with other comments that glitter and bling are not the same thing at all. Amber has simpler tastes than most bling people do. She looks radiant.
It was so sweet seeing the mom there for support.
She stuck to her guns and vision and got what she wanted. Such supportive friends and family.
Bahaha well that’s the only time guns should be mentioned in conjunction with a wedding!
THIS is an entourage, they all had a clear idea of what the bride wanted and was fully supportive of her dream, and gave her the response ever bride wants to see every 👏single 👏 time 👏 she walked out. Perfect 🥂
Princess, tulle, sparkle, glitter... ✔️ ✔️ ✔️ ✔️. She got everything she wanted and it was a beautiful dress. The consultant kept saying bling, but the bride kept saying sparkle. There was a difference in the bride's vision and therein lied the problem.
"Therein LAY the problem..." The problem is incapable of telling a talking, let alone lying!
@@jb6712 I guess we are both wrong. Just googled it and it should be "therein lies the problem". Proper grammar can be tricky sometimes.😉
Her mom DID say "bling" though in the beginning while describing it. I think there was just a lot of unintentional miscommunications by everyone
Let’s stick to the topic….save the grammar lesson for a different post before a verbal dispute escalates!
Such a beautiful dress … the one she picked was my favvvvv so elegant
The dress she chose looked so good on her, Also, a lovely mother and daughter dynamic!
A breath of fresh air to see a bride who knows that there's a huge difference between bling and glitter ! The store should have too but at the end of the day all that matters is that she got the dress she wanted ❤️
The first puffy dress looked like a big cupcake. The one she got looks so beautiful on her.
that forst pouff was not even a pouff..it was a cake shaped dress, an absolute disaster...so ugly! And I love pouff
I think she looked Beautiful in every dress ❤
I like the way they do things in the Candian show: they have the consultant get the bride's vision, and then the consultant does the shopping. And I love that the family and friends are sitting down instead of wandering around pulling dresses at random. I think it really helps to stick to what the bride wants.
Couldn't have said it better.......
I disagree.. The Brides' should have a look. The consultants do not know somebody after a short visit. The brides' need to know their choices. Peace to All.
@@Mr6wolfdog oh, the bride should get to check things out. The entourage, should not.
I would never allow a person that doesn't know me to interpret my "vision" when I can easily take a few steps and see for myself if they have a gown I want to buy in their stockroom.
@@emilysmalley6795I am always willing to agree to disagree. But, if you own a shop... Tell me now. I don't want to recommend your shop to Any Bride and her family and friends.
I feel like the consultants don't listen to the bride... She went directly in and picked her own dress.
Why are they not allowing bride to go through dresses from beginning ????
I was getting frustrated with her! They work with gowns, do they not know what GLITTER means!?!? Literally GLITTER not stones!!!! GLITTERY TULLE *IS* a thing and that's what she wanted! SMH
I'm sorry but they weren't listening to her at all. So glad she went to look herself bc they all think glitter means bling and it doesn't. I understand a lot of people come in not knowing what they want or just want to play dress up and be catered to, but she knew exactly what she wanted and explained it correctly. They need to listen more.
Well she said, glitter, sparkle, bling which are quite broad terms, most ppl use these words interchangeably
@@jemmaj2919 Her mom said bling. She said glitter.
Unfortunately some staff just think they know best a d don't bother listen. Most brides ask for bling ao she oull her normal dresses she show off instead of put in time and listen
@@jemmaj2919 she never said bling. Her mom did but it's not the mom that get married
@@AnniCarlsson she obviously didn't disagree with her mum, and even when they presented the first few dresses she didn't say that's not what I want. She clearly failed to communicate her requirements
That second dress is the most cupcake looking dress I've ever seen! 😂 The one she chose was classic and beautiful.
I don't understand why the bridal stores don't start by having the bride look at their inventory.
It would save a lot of time if the bride could eliminate the gowns before the salesperson lugged them in the fitting room and would eliminate miscommunication about the style desired.
I see where you're getting at, but a bridal appointment is not like other clothes shopping. Dresses look so different on the hangar than they do on. And there are literally hundreds of white dresses with different price points in stock. Brides often get overwhelmed and fatigued if they have to look themselves. And, finally, the appointments would have to be extended for the extra time it would take.
@@catladyfromky4142
"And there are literally hundreds of white dresses with different price points in stock. Brides often get overwhelmed and fatigued if they have to look themselves."
I'm confused just looking at the bridal dresses on the rack because they all look so similar!! 😵💫
For me, it's hard to see some of the individual differences between wedding dresses even when the bride is wearing them.
@AFAskygoddess I agree. Just to give them some type of idea of what they want
@@DrawciaGleam02 I guess we all have different abilities. These dresses look totally different to me, like comparing a white Toyota Highlander to a white Honda CRV. I would NEVER allow a store to show me only 25 choices for an item costing thousands of dollars knowing there were hundreds of other dresses in their inventory room. For me, I'll " know it when I see it". Furthermore, the bridal shop in Atlanta and New York on SYTTD allow the brides and families in their stockroom.
@@catladyfromky4142 but staff way to often refuses to understand the most simple explanation of what the vride want and what she really hates. They bring in completely thee wrong type off dreases and then blaming the client because they didn't listen
I'd of been discouraged to if she kept bringing me dresses that I had to say over and over "I want the glitter to come down." The lady helping her seems really checked out. She asked for GLITTER not bling and beads. The dress she picked for herself is EXACTLY what she described.. I'm glad she got what she was looking for.
I love her mom. Such a sweet supportive lady!
How does glitter translate to bling? The 1st dress on her....wow. Her figure looked amazing in it. The 3rd dress was perfect for her. Wish I could see it fitted to her properly.
Yes I feel like there should be a wedding day picture at the end of each episode 🥰
But after watching so many videos and reading hundreds of comments it's pretty common that alot of these brides don't end up wearing there pick on their wedding day as people find them on their Instagram after
She made a great choice. The dress I picked has a corset back and is strapless. It’s hard for bigger girls to find a dress that doesn’t make us look bigger than we already are. She’s gonna look great on her big day.
She looked so beautiful and elegant in the dress that she chose...a princess. I agree with the other comments. She wanted all over glitter and it was interpreted as bling, which was just on the top of the other dresses chosen.
What she described is not what I visualized. Her gown is much more subdued than what I thought she wanted. I am so glaf she didn't give up. Her gown is absolutely beautiful and perfect for her!
Yes I notice there is a difference between bling and glitter. Bling is heavier - jewels/studs, while glitter/sparkle is more demure. She kept saying she wanted glitter.
It's Día de Reyes in Mexico so this video is like a gift for the day! I liked how the bride received her crew support and how she knew exactly what she wanted. The consultant was not as refine as listener she had to so; I'm glad this bride took the control and chose with freedom. The dress was beautiful but I'm sincere, I think she stunned everything she tried on. The mom and cheering sisters were so lovely 😍
That second dress was gorgeous! It looks like it would’ve been hard for someone to pull off, but she absolutely nailed it!
The dress she chose was far more subtle than what she was describing, both in bling and the poof. It was a nice choice with glitter in the skirt. The second dress was almost like the ultimate in everything she asked.
i have half a damn mind to have a second wedding ceremony just to wear that 2nd dress like OMG GIMME
I loved the second dress better and thats what she was asking for and I'm happy that she found the dress but if it was me the second one was more princess looking and even they liked that one better but in the end it is what the bride wants
@@fallongillum110
Funny how we all have different tastes. I thought the second dress was horrific. lol
i love how supportive they are
The mom Is Just so Kind and Really nice and she calmed her down Perfectly
She choose the right dress 💗
I started crying when she came out wearing the last dress, I’m so happy she found her dress
Dreadful consultants. How she stuck to her guns and picked out her own is amazing. She said sparkle and glitter. She told them poof. What was so hard for them. Didn’t they like her? They seemed to think she was too difficult. And what was all the thing with taking loads of dresses to her to choose. They weren’t consultants. They were sales assistants. And miserable at that. Poor girl.
Aaaaaaaaaaawwww. So SWEET! She found her dress and IT IS lovely!!! Best wishes to the bride & groom . . .
How did they not find this dress before? Amber's description fitted it perfectly, I'm so happy for her that she found it.
But that staff needs a thesaurus in the shop, to find out what words mean. :D
This entourage is so supportive but her mom is what I needed today 💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗
"Hello! Ba-BAM! POUFFE!" I'm not sure anyone could top that description for clarity and effect. That was pretty effective communication. "I wanna see Hello! Ba-BAM! POUFFE!" The only problem was that it was only to the camera. The consultants didn't hear that. Wish the couple and the two families every success and joy.
The sales rep wasn't listening. She translated glitter to bling and didn't realize guns was the bf apparently
She said she absolutely loved the really pouffy dress in the dressing room. Her family liked it too. But then she started crying, saying that her family was pushing her to love a dress she didn't. What? She said she did.
And her final dress only had sparkle on the belt. And it was bling, not "glitter." So she was a very bad communicator.
This is how I feel at the doctor's office, I try to explain but it always feels like a lack of communication and it gets frustrating.
She tried on 2 dresses and was already going to give up. Sometimes you have to do the work dear to get what you want. Glad you didn't give up.
She got good family and friends who supports her 😌🥰 and she looks beautiful on that dress🥰
She looks beautiful even when she cries
WELL DONE TO THE MOM OF THE

THE BOOST SHE NEEDED 2 KEEP
TRYING 2 FIND A DRESS .I THINK
THAT THE ENTTOURAGE WERE
VERY NICE,HELPFUL+ COOPERATIVE , UNLIKE SOME
SEEN IN THE PAST ,WHO TRY
+DESTROY THE APPOINTMENT
FOR THE BRIDE
That's actually how I want my dress, the sparkle on the fabric itself, not necessarily the bling sewn on
The bridal consultant sounds and acts very unenthusiastic from the get-go. It's almost like she is sleep-walking through everything and doesn't have any genuine interest in this bride.
I think she is very self-conscious in front of the cameras. She mumbles a lot rather than clearly enunciating her words which makes her hard to understand. She also mimics others' words or gestures which I have found common in people with confidence issues. She's very beautiful and hopefully will become more confident as she becomes more accustomed to her role.
Her words sound very slurred and it reminds me of the way my sister spoke when she had a palate expander.
@@hez5160 Yes, her words are very slurred and I was wondering if she had retainers or something in her mouth or if that was just the way she talked. She does seem to be shy, either because of the cameras or it's just her personality, but I think there are a couple of factors to why she appears to be unenthusiastic.
I have never understood why they have to choose gowns for the bride, instead of letting the bride choose what SHE wants to try on.
I love her choice and the sparkle of the sequins on the dress very elegant.
Yes glitter/sparkle (not bling)- she absolutely knew what she wanted and I am so glad she found it!!!!!!
I love how SYTTD Canada keeps them under the budget and satisfied ✅️
Why would she be “ready to leave” after only trying on 2 dresses. 😦
That's what I was thinking too!
I took it more as the amount of dresses they brought her and she was saying no too and out of them all she had only tried on 2.
I feel LIKE they were too busy trying TO break her bank of 2500 INSTEAD OF finding her perfect gown
Didn't like the consultant. She asks for a ballgown and she brings out an A line that was a bad start. She asked for glittery tulle how hard is that? The bride should get the consultants commission as a discount!
love the idea! lol
that "misunderstanding" definitely contributed to her crying and wanting to give up
She actually had more idea at 21 about style than her entourage who loved dress 2
The dress she picked fits her figure perfectly! Omg
Such a loving bride she’s soo pretty with very positive energy love u amber❤️❤️🥰🥰 wish u a happy married life
Too many tears after just two dresses ... but happy she found her dress.
She looks STUNNING in her dress! ✨
Beautiful dress, I loved the subtle all over sparkle❣️ It elevated the dress. Like the storybooks where the girl donned the dress & is transformed. She looked stunning❣️
I love to see this type of supportive and loving families.
Style wise, I thought the first one looked the best, but the one she chose really did have the "glitter" she kept asking for.
Her family is so humble
I love when she said “yeasss!” She looks amazing!
The neckline on the first dress makes her look wide. It also sits weirdly on her hips. The second dress was like a wedding cake from the nineties gone wrong or a pageant dress from the eighties and swallowed her up, The last one was much better and the tulle skirt suits her shape. Less is more
What a great group of support. Everyone should have this experience
Wow, Amber's mom is fantastic, so encouraging.
LMFAOOOOO
She’s bawling and it’s her second dress!?
I can see crying if you’ve tried on dozens but it’s obvious that she’s a total drama Queen!
No, id say she is just very young. She is only 21!! She did come off a bit childish and thats why, she is only 21! . I think she seems very sweet and comes from a loving supportive family.
I agree, she's a drama queen. I'd love to see what her future husband will be dressed in.
You do know that this is tv right? They try in a whole bunch you don’t see. Honestly I can’t believe people are SO clueless.
@@BlondeSparkles ohhhhh thanks for pointing that out. I WAS clueless until you came along and enlightened me with your wealth of knowledge! Have you ever thought about running for political office? People need your kind of wisdom to run this country!
So did you know they only show three dresses on camera. After 12 hours of filming and multiple dresses. So unless you know the complete story maybe check your info out. The MOM.
Omg, when she put on the last dress it made even me tear up. Shes absolitley gorgeous in it, well done
Perfect dress! She looks amazing & beautiful!
I would be embarrassed to say my fiance was a hunter!
I love her smile. Really happy she found her dress ❤️
I have a similar problem with getting my hair cut. I always say that I want the front full. (To me: full of hair. I have curly hair, so it's like long curly bangs), to the hairdresser "full" means short. Go figure! Bride says glitter -- consultant thinks bling.
The mom has a really sweet comforting voice :)
"Very specific idea." Well for one that's a good thing, and for another, her vision seemed pretty clear to me.
what an adorable bride 😭❤
That was a beautiful dress. It makes her glow and brings out her beauty and wonderful smile.
The bride is such a gorgeous girl and I love how she took control of the appointment when the consultant wasn't bringing her what she wanted. She looks stunning in the dress she chose and I wish her and her husband lots of luck and happiness together. ❤❤❤❤❤
“I want so much bling, this dress with 50lbs of tulle and glitter isn’t enough”
*goes and picks out a dress with a bling belt*
Me: ok then
Right? She picked the plain dress. I thought she wanted POOF AND GLITTER. Not that the dress doesn't look good it's just ... I'm sure she said poof and glitter and sparkle. Not simple
@@rosamontano6744 If you look closely, the dress had glitter. It sparkles when she moves. I guess with her description everyone though she wanted lots of in your face bling. I was confused also, but when I saw the dress shortly glittering, I got it.
The entire skirt has glitter in it 😍
@@snehakotian6028 Yes, she wanted actual glitter rather than a bling top over and over. I think it was beautiful and tasteful.
@@heather_smallwood i think if that second dress had been made with glitter tulle but still had all the embellishments on it, she would have been sold. i mean short of the skirt being literally made of glitter, it was the sparkliest poofiest damn dress i've ever seen on this show and i've been watching since 2011.
Bless her heart she totally found the one!!
Such a pretty girl and she looked super in the dress.
I loveeee this bride and her entourages energy! God bless :)
That type of sparkly "glitter" is something I absolutely LOVE and will probably want it on my own wedding day 😍✨✨✨
Guns and glitter,holy moly......
I really like the consultant, so patient.
I’m with all of the other people who came to the comment section wanting to highlight the glitter/blinge ✨ she looked amazing, gorgeous dress and lady 💕
She chose a beautiful dress. She did not explain it correctly to the assistant though.
Guns & Glitter??? As a theme for a wedding??? 🤦🏻♀️
I've seen more than one wedding that included camouflage in the theme.
her mom is so sweet 🥺🥺
beautiful. just the right amount of glitter and it just flows .
She looks amazing! Great Choice!
Ah yay I was hoping there'd be a new SYTTD uploaded soon! ^_^
She is such a sweet person, sparkly... And how do you get your hair to look so awesome!
