  • We return to Aldermaston's 4x4 Without A Club this time with me in the driver's seat! Various things have changed about the Disco since our last off-roading adventure mainly the new headlights and chequer plating! I am also joined by my friend @jus.c4rz who is responsible for the footage in this video!

the wheels are from a new Defender? if so do they bolt right on or did you have to modify them

They go right on although there will be some rubbing with 60mm sidewalls.

Which tyre pressures are running here

Running standard road pressure so about 32 - 35 PSI all around. I understand you can air down to about 20 PSI for off-road but I don’t have a compressor.

I made them myself but you can buy the halo rings from eBay or Amazon they are 120mm in diameter.

Drl looking good, you blacked the backing too? What did you use?

@@1srowlings I used satin black spray paint from a brand called WRX you can find it on Amazon. Essentially I took the lenses off, stripped down the interior components, masked off the projector lens and drilled the holes needed for the retention wire and wiring needed for the halo rings.

@@1srowlings Yes I agree but I was a little bit time constrained on that one since this car is sort of used as a daily. I do have a video coming soon going through the whole process of installing the chequer plating though!
