the 800 is just unpredictable (wanyoni and arop) are the exeptions so hard to make the finals but once you got a lane in the 800 everything can happen there are many chronic chokers in the 800 amos etc. but the 1500 is fairly predictable rowden already out
@@josephkeane7802 I think he lost balance when his arm went into Kerr, rather than Kerr clipped him. Gutted, anyway. Kerr was on course to run 52/52 as predicted as well.
Josh’s fault look at the race it’s on CZcams. Josh tried to barge through and it was completely unnecessary because Josh has said he’s not going to run 800m at the Olympics anyway
@@BitCrafted incorrect. Josh had the inside line. Giles was on the outside of lane 1. And was about to get passed fairly on the inside. And instead of just conceding position, he tripped them both. If you think josh has any fault here, you clearly dont know how track works. You DO NOT cut people off under no circumstances. The fault is 100% with giles. Now hes gotta live with that because he wont be going to paris
Last commenter said it best. In the final stretch if someone is in lane 1 they have to run in a straight line or go around everyone. Kerr ran in a straight line and didn't break any rules. Giles ran in the outer part of lane 1 and then shifted more towards the middle when he felt Kerr coming from the inside, blocking Kerr.
50-50 for me, gap wasn't clear-cut and would have required some level of barging to squeeze through. Giles shouldn't have drifted left either but easy to do when lads pressuring your right.
Giles knew he was about to get beat so he played the oldest trick in the book. Could have injured himself and kerr. Bad sportsmanship, Unacceptable tbh.
absolute rubbish, you may play that game, he was looking towards Max Burgin and in doing so veered left where Josh Kerr was coming through, no way is he doing that deliberately, if your mind works like that , fine, but dont assume others have your morals
This is 800m racing and runners get tangled up and trip over all the time, it's part of the nature of the event. We just saw it happen to Athing Mu. No-one is to blame.
@@jensmith3719 like i said, bad sportsmanship and unacceptable, so clearly no i do not play that game. Who’s here after the trials final?
I just saw the fall!!! hopefully you're okay (not injured). I'm rooting for you! You're an inspiration! Never Give Up
Well you called out the first two. Hope you recover quickly from the fall.
Fingers crossed for you. That was very well timed. Brilliant watch before the 800 final.

rowden already out
running on spikes at top speed is tricky
As an 800 / 1500 runner how long is your long run and do you do that as a weekly run?
I feel for you bud .. keep pushing and keep believing 🫡
checking the results... soon it's on!! Good luck!!
Not the result I expected, TBQH.

I wasn’t sure either, I think he was so lactic he was just unaware so closed into Kerr and then it was shambles from there, just hope he’s not injured
It’s tricky below average 1500m and average 800m , maybe 8 , either take drugs or get left behind 💊
Wrong decision
Your fault or josh?

Surprised Kerr wasn’t annoyed after a dirty move like that totally blocked him both lucky to be injury free

@@28mouse85didn’t happen it was kerrs fault for thinking that was a gap
Giles may have technically been at fault but to say it was intentional is ludicrous
