disclaimer there are a couple clips that were supposed to have music playing over it but i must have mistakingly muted it lol. Alsoooo idk why the background noise is so loud in some of the clips, it didn't sound like that when I was editing it :/ thanks for sticking through it!!!

LOVE LOVE this!!!!! and watching you explore India. All the food looks so good especially noodles, love me some noodles! Love seeing the ladies make rugs, such an art wow… I appreciate your perspective on being grateful in life. Traveling really humbles you and teaches you so much and loved hearing your insight. Im so happy you got to experience this
Giiirl, I was eating noodles every other day and I was not mad about it 😋😍 I appreciate your kind words and I'm relieved that my rambling/train of thought made sense LOL. but yess, my time in India definitely made me realize how easy it is to practice gratitude when you're feeling comfortable and not facing any difficult external factors that are out of your control. The real test is when you're faced with less than desirable physical/emotional/mental factors 😅
This was such a cool vlog! It was also interesting to hear your reflections about your mother's life and being set in your routines. I haven't travelled outside my country in like seven, eight years now and honestly the thought kind of scares me, too, since I'm very particular about the course of my day. In the autumn I'll hopefully be visiting my friend abroad (just in the next country over, haha), which will also be my first trip alone. Anyway, I hope the adjustment back to your usual life in the States has gone smoothly! ☀️
Also yum, vegan pizza. 🤭 Was it easy for you to find vegan food in India? I've understood that at least like 20% of the population is vegetarian, but I don't know about veganism. I'd expect the numbers depend on the local county, too, since India truly is... kind of big haha.
thank you friend!!! Its always challenging to step outside your norm and comfort zone at first but it always gets easier with time and when you realize that there are so many pro's to giving yourself that opportunity. That's so exciting!!!! Solo trip to a new country is such a huge achievement. I hope it's an incredible time and safe travels!! 🥰 xo
@@-elisam hehe 🍕🍕🍕not going to lie, it was a bit tricky to find fully vegan options because most of the vegetarian dishes have dairy in it :/ but it wasn't impossible, just needed to reiterate with the servers multiple times to request no dairy/eggs when ordering LOL
