I never will take the side of the person or company who takes an argument public when they haven’t even hashed it out privately yet.
The reason why it’s done, is to put their target on the spot & to garner sympathy from the public, purposely using them as weapons against their intended target.
If you have gone through all the right channels & after all that still feel like you’re not getting justice on an issue, then you can make it public in a way of getting eyes on an issue but if you start with going public as an attack, you are just bullying your target into submission & I will never be on their side regardless of right and wrong.
I feel like Chinese business does this a lot & I find it cowardly when many Chinese would just say it’s ’business’

Tale of Roses - the nitizens are so troublesome, the actors/actresses are trying to perform their best according to the story to portray the life of the person(s) in the story. WHY can't people in real life be romantic, behaving in certain ways in life, make harsh or irrational decisions or follow their hearts rather than their mind for that matters. It seems like the nitizens do not really appreciate the real story or the real character(s) at all! Oh boy! I have been watching and seeing comments of nitizens - NOBODY can satisfy them whether you give stella performance or not, they will find ways to criticise you - that my view of the Chinese audience. What a shame.

Thanks for the interesting updates! I'm looking forward to some of the upcoming dramas. It's great that two Meteor Garden alumni, Darren Chen and Cesar Wu, have new dramas. It's hard to believe it's been six years since MG premiered! I've been following TheTale of Rose. It's a glossy soap opera about a beautiful, intelligent young woman whom men find irresistably desirable, causing her great heartache. It focuses far more on her love life than her career, so that's been somewhat disappointing to me. The supporting cast is excellent. Poor Leo! Getting mobbed at a busy airport and then having a hard time getting a ride has to be any celebrity's worst day. Too bad he can't just get on public transport! 😂

Regarding the airport kerfuffle : seems to me neither side should be criticized. It is stressful to travel let alone with entourage and media following.
Ski into Love also wrapped. Reborn for Love is on my list; looking forward to it. Was thinking about Link Click but AI subs aren't something I can deal with in a series or very rarely. The Double is dropping express on Saturday so we'll be ending that great drama soon (P.S. The leads actually returned to filming an extra episode two days ago). So many kissing scenes in "Tale of Rose"? Who cares? Most of us loved them. lol Too many times, you get a loving couple who, for whatever reason, albeit the director or the actors themselves, forego the kissing except for maybe one. They opt to just hug most of the time. To me that is unrealistic in today's couples. I'm glad there are directors who are not afraid of passion and good kissing. I've seen too many painful kisses in many of these dramas. ha
That lady who snapped at LL's team about her ride is going to feel really embarrassed when she finds out that it was Leo Luo behind that mask. heheh

It's very difficult to maintain a marriage relationship when one of the partners or even both partners have to engage in intimate scenes in dramas with other actors/actresses. It's only acting is the excuse given but it does affect the marriage partner's feelings and emotions.

Actually 好拽 = hao zhuai. It means something like "arrogant"
I dont know why Marcus translate it to "so cool" and i checked google translate is also the same as Marcus. But its definitely not the real meaning.
The real meaning is a lil complicated. It means arrogant/or even arrogant in a cool way (like u admire his arrogant guts thus in a cool way)
I dont know which context but if he isn't happy then when you use that word 好拽 it does not have a positive remark. It just means he thinks that person is being arrogant....
I do felt he is in the wrong here. His team caused inconvenience to others, they should apologize to the lady and so Leo shouldn't use the word 好拽.
I think the lady is scared her car being "snatched" by others so she maybe hurriedly and over-reactedly response: " hey its my car!" because it almost happened to me when i grab/uber a car... Someone else want to get into the car and i kinda panic knowing thats my ride!

Tale of Rose did nothing for me. I did not find it interesting
Sad but I thought I would Love the Legend of Heroes buttt I am not really feeling it. The fight scenes are mediocre at best and the ML is like a dumb clumsy oaf. Its annoying.. and the FL lead I am not liking either. At episode 7.. hope this gets better
