4. We can’t have mature concepts when the industry keep debuting minors and the older idols are looked at as not as interesting as their younger co-workers.

I must say the fan call were a fan made a cocktail for Jk because he said he wanted to drink with ARMY is exactly how I would love for the video calls to go. That ARMY showed respect and care for him doing something he expressed many times he wanted to do with ARMY if that was the kind of interactions they got (not the drinking part but the acknowledge of the idol wishes) then as long as they are a sporadic event I would be fine with them.
I really agree with the first one . The idols on stage that look bored really doesn’t get my attention at all whereas idols that got that charisma , even when they’re not the best dancer , get my attention all the time. Usually, idols that don’t have a good stage presence on stage are usually the least biased in their group since they don’t really bring attention on themselves on stage.
I completely agree. I’m tired from my own fandom complaining that certain member is the least biased in the group when it’s clear that he’s the most boring on stage 🤷🏻♀️

The seunghan one is so realll, like he was the only one who made things less awkward between the members, their chemistry was so much better when he was still there yet now they all look akward and shy between each other, same goes for their performance, they used to be really cheerful , but even with impossible a summer song not a single smile was given.
He has made a huge impact in a short span of time. If he doesn't return, it will be a big loss. Seunghan deserves better.
The tripleS one is kind of unfair. First of all, there’s 23 other people on stage with you, so of course it’ll be harder to sync, if that’s even possible. Second, I don’t blame the tripleS members for not making faces unless theyre in the front because, be real; Why would you be working hard on facial expressions when 6 other people are standing in front of you?
I want a mature concept in k-pop so bad 😭😭😭. It doesn’t have to be sexy but I just like the sound of mature songs kind of like Red Velvet’s Automatic. Or like Rosé’s Gone.

I saw the people's live reactions on stage when Triples performed the encore after their first win, they were bored AF, and most of the fans were girls on this live stage. People online kept saying "Where is 'girls support girls' ?"

6: I don’t think fan calls should be a continued practice. I’m sure some of them are genuinely wholesome and cute (not forcing aegyo but cute), but the amount of creepy ones we’ve seen? And that’s only the ones we’ve SEEN. There’s probably more out there. Also, it gives fans entitlement and we don’t need more entitled kpop fans.
10: I think even if they’re not writing the music, it should still connect to them (to some extent) and they should be able to talk about it is some depth (unless it’s not a deep song).

I have to correct you in the 3rd opinion. As far as I know Momoland officially disbanded. Their label didn`t make a statement but all of the members wrote handwritten letters in which they said they disbanded. When it comes to CLC Sorn said they haven`t disbanded but currently everyone is following their own paths but I think there is still hope for them because the members are very close with each other.

The main ones I had to unstan were:
4minute-After “volume up” they looked so bored and dry on stage I couldn’t even watch them anymore
SNSD(girls generation)- half of them stopped “performing” and it bothered me so much the laziness from them I had to unstan
Kara- They got real dry and stale too, like they were just going through the motions too
Red Velvet- they kinda just started to bore me after a while and the scandals on top of that made me unstan
Aespa- saw black mamba for the 1st time and instantly was a Stan but their stage presence was non existent besides NingNing so I had to unstan (I stayed a casual listener but couldn’t Stan them),then they brought me back with Drama so I Stan again lol
Those are my main ones, just my honest opinion no hate on any of them at all.
When 5050 went to pot, I checked the old interviews and promotions. When asked if they were friends with other idols, Aran went on about her closeness to Jini.

Seeing 4walls here made me feel emotional. Almost 9 years later and this song is still an undeniable bop , the girls deserved so much better yet not only SM but also the korean public listeners messed them up so bad that the company didn't know what to do with them anymore , i still hope that they will be making a comeback one day despite it being impossible probably. F(x) were ahead of their time.

So many fans can't recognize pre-recorded vocals. They're in the comments praising how great their favs sound. Meanwhile, their fav isn't even lipsyncing in time and their head mic is 12 inches from their mouth after it got displaced from dancing. XG are changing the game, but none of their stages for Woke Up have had live vocals. Fans call out moments you can hear just the backing track like you can't play a pre-recorded vocals and backing track at the same time. Maybe if those fans weren't so delusional and accepted that real live vocals would have flaws, groups would actually sing and rap live.
i think the fact that seunghan was with the group for a couple months and fans have been asking for him back longer than he was around shows how vital he was to the group. he left a mark on the group and SM needs to realize his importance in riize

For #3, it’s a music business strategy. As long as the varying record labels can keep going with the title of the band (whether the band is active or not), money will continue coming in. It’s essentially a move to squeeze any last bit of money out of groups. It’s sad, but it’s true!! Learned this from a record label contracting class and have seen it first hand when interning.

9. I agree that it's a preference but I think its more about fitting Korean beauty standards and I dont think those kinds of preferences are good. These 'preferences' are very unfair to the talented girls who are pushed out in favor of the less talented girls who fit the korean beauty standards and they make the groups less talented as a whole. I'll use I-land 2 as an example. Mai is Japanese but fits Korean beauty standards. Mai has weak vocals and her dancing is just ok, but the producers LOVE her. Watch her Drama performance and tell me how she could possibly get so many votes based on the skills she showed. Almost every comment she gets throughout the show is about her being pretty. It's not helpful for her improvement and if she takes a debut spot that could go to a more talented girl, it will make the group worse overall. Stage presence is important but it is not a substitute for other talents. Similarly, Koko is a great dancer and good rapper who beat out a much better rapper but less traditionally beautiful girl (Yuju) for a RAP PERFORMANCE. I like both girls, but Yuju has been clearly unfavored throughout the show regardless of the quality of her performances. And to be clear I think foreigners favoring those with less talent from their own countries is also a problem. Lingling had a lot of support despite being consistently mid.

i think twice is a perfect example of how you can transition concepts. but at the same time, even with this maturer concept the core of twice still has a cute concept vibe, like they never lost the cute concept they added a mature concept onto the group, if companies and groups are afraid to lose fans because of concept changes they need to study how twice pulled it off so seamlessly and take a page from their book

Dior is a brand that choose their embassadors with a lot of care and after a long analizis. For them it is never about who is the most popular but who embody at perfection the spirit of the brand. Natalie Portman once talked about how hard and interesting was her path to become lady Dior and it involved a lot of interviews and exhausting revision to her work and public oppinions until Dior decided she was a good choice for the brand after a few years she was first approached to the brand.
Jisoo has a really warm, charming and polish image in all senses. She has this classic and timeless vibe, this sweet heart dispossition in public that translate perfect for Dior and all the brand's embassadors seems to have that elegant but warm factor.
I think we will see them collab for a long time yet and I am not complaining.
I agree that idols can be interpreters and not necesarilly songwritters because that is a different set of skills they need to master. In idol cases my only complain is that if they are not writing, nor producing and sometimes not even making any artistic input on their albums then I want one full album at year (at least 12 full and new songs even better if they are 16, interludes, skits and instrumentals do not counts). They can promote for half at year, do something else the rest of the year and be ready to promote again because their music team can be doing all the required work to create an album while they are on holidays and having their brands deals and even making a few concerts.
One of my complains with idols and fans is that they forgot that their work is exactly that: custom service. They are singers, entreteiners and custom services personas, they can not be rude to their fans, they can not be rude at all while in public because that is their job, they sell their image and us as costumers needs to remember that while they sell their image we are not entitled to their personal life nor are their friends nor are close to them and should allow them time to be themselves and breath outside of the public eye. Oh! And fans should be polite and mindfull to the idols too.
Last but related to the previous one, depending of the kind of critique, if it is one that is recurrent and could be relevant I think idols and their agencies should listening to the public. A bad singing critique should be considered if it is comun, a lost weight one (unless we are talking about obesity here) should be ignored, complains about certain clothes could be put into considerations and so on. Ignorig your public is a disaster recipe.

She released her vlog, and most people found out she is really funny. I believe this has played a big part. I have no idea why it was not done earlier.
