I’m going to do a follow up about my group playing the game this past weekend. They are on a quest to find the ark of the covenant and they had a blast and I was able to use some cheesy pop/alternative history books I’ve read for the background

    Church of Law.
The magic system is new, in Albion I wrote assuming people were still doing Vancian (standard D&D) magic. But the magic system here is totally Medieval.
    Great review, thanks!
And yes, several issues of RPGPundit Presents are (& more will be) direct supplements for L&D.

Its design philosophy, in terms of viewing magic the way the people of the time would of viewed it, reminds me of the old computer RPG Darklands.

I'll have to check this out later, but I subscribed. I'm here due to The RPG Pundit's blog. :)

No worries, most of my stuff is filmed with whatever webcam comes with my current laptop. :)

Cool. Love this guy's hardcore magick ideas. Very interesting. Reminds me of my life. I basically live in my moms basement and grind all day and night for years.

Good video, but it might be an improvement if you mounted your camera and used both hands to hold the book in the configuration you want.

Nice review. The Arthurian period was well before the middle ages. It was called Dark ages and it was what emerged from the fall of the late Roman empire.

False. The Arthurian age doesn't exist and the stories span centuries and apply late Medieval values and culture to past times.

If you're going to run an Arthurian game you should really just use Pendragon.

In mideval days there was no Catholic church yet, or what he loves in his books rifles either. So I'm happy with a game system that combines the best of 4AD, DCC, D&D and Dungeon World all in 1 TTRPG. This TTRPG I love is called D100 Dungeon by Martin Knight!
