Mouth watering goodness man.
I love your various cooking episodes. Do you have any recipes for cooking goat and/or lamb? And do you have them in your cookbook?
❤🎉 absolutely outstanding i just love steak!!!
Great video AB. You really stepped my cook game up, the kids love the dishes now. From crockpot, kettle grill, skillet, oven, to smoking meat. Love the T-shirt. I remember you mentioning awhile ago. Have you ever thought about making a how to channel for drag racing. You just might get more people into that. Keep it up!!
Great Idea. I was actually really thinking about it. Stay tuned and see what happens :)

I am curious on why you didnt use the pepper.
That is one beautiful steak Chef
Looks delish! Salt but no pepper to tenderize the steak?
This steak look so delicious!! Send me a plate! 😋 😍 😩 ❤
Good mawnin 🆎 I cracked up because I thought about The Flintstones when I saw that steak 😂 Gorgeous though. I think I want a cheesy bacony baked potato with that.
You and I can eat together anytime. We like the same things :)
@@SmokinandGrillinwithAB Grape Kool-aid too 😉
That’s IT!!!! I’m moving back to Cali😂
I know your neighbors be like can I come over for dinner I know they smell that good food
Lol, all the time
Yes
Yaba Dabaa Doo🎉
Pepper would've burned during the sear
Great stake
In South Africa we use marinating sauce for steaks - leave it overnight under marinating sauce - then put on the grill.
I have done that in the past. Thanks for the reminder. I will show doing one like that very soon.
When will u do lamb chops
Good luck 🍀
When I purchase my tomahawk steak, I always purchased it from Sam’s Club but I never grilled it. I always put it in the oven. Thanks for the idea.
Yes sir.
what is the reason for pulling out the moister before cooking?
I think he forgot to follow up that the salt then is dissolved in that moisture which then gets reabsorbed back into the steak. That's how the steak gets seasoned beyond the top layer when both get absorbed. I also don't think he noted that it's large kosher salt he's seasoning it with. Table salt doesn't work as well and is way too strong for seasoning meat like that. It's why many chefs will use large Kosher salt crystals for seasoning meat. It does the job better, covers more area, and keeps the flavor without being as strong as table salt. As far as patting any extra moisture left on top before cooking helps browning. Hope that helps.
Peace ✌ and Grape Kool-aid. 😊❤❤🎉. Well done on the streak.
Besides salt what other seasoning would you recommend
Salt and Pepper. I didn't use pepper because it get so dark. You can use your favorite steak seasoning as well.
@@SmokinandGrillinwithAB Roger that! Thanks!
I understand why you patted it dry to help with browning. Is there a reason you didn't add oil to the meat after? Does it have to do with the thickness and cooking time? I assume you didn't use the pepper because it tends to burn on the grill with long cooking. Thin quick steak would probably be ok to use pepper if you don't want burnt pepper. Yes?
AB you sure no how to cook a steak. ❤❤😮
If you want the steak to be medium what temperature should it be before you take it off the grill?
Take it off at 145 degrees F for medium. Let it rest and rise to 145 F
@@SmokinandGrillinwithABthank you soo much love! I font have a grill but im going to reverse sear it and put it in the oven.
Please make some beef liver and onions gravy with mashed potatoes and green beans.
well done 4 me
Pulling at 130 would easily rest into the 40's pushing past medium in the center id pull it around 100-110 to rest into a true medium rare.. At the steak house my tommys will usulay cook 20 to 30 more degrees after cooking so i tend to pull mid rare at 90 degrees and medium at 110. There is a lot of ambient heat in the resturant.
🙏🙏
Just 👀 @ “tht” tomahawk steak 🔥 “”
I was thinking how happy that bone would make a dog as you were cutting the meat off it, then you said the same thing. That dog would never forget that.
It looks delicious but I need more than salt season
Looks good i just cant eat nothing but well done beef
😮
What do you mean by "dirty smoke"??
mmmmmm
Missing THAT GARLIC bro. Salt, Pepper, Garlic. IE fresh ground pepper and pink sea salt fresh ground as well and then
garlic powder.
👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
damn that's a wicked cut of meat!
#teamwelldone
No Diddy on eating ya meat well done 😂
Lmao😂
Me and the dog would have to share that meat on the bone 🤣
AB, as gorgeous as that steak was, I got tired of paying for a bone that is sort of useless except for show. Now I stick to ribeyes. But I love your method.
I hear you but it's not something that you do every weekend it's more of a special occasion thing that can also be shared with more than two people. Three at most
@chrisbullock6477 I am not the kind of person who would buy one steak and ask people to share. I buy three at a time. If I was married I would share with my husband but that is not the case. We do it once or twice a month during grilling weather. That's why I stick to a great rib eye and not pay for the bone that you just throw away. There is so much you can do with what's left when your done.
@@leadfoot1229 Wow alot for one person for this size...I hear you...looks good
Tomahawk steak is good when cooked and seasoned right but, that’s A lot of red meat for me!! Good looking steak though! ❤

I'd have used more salt. It's impossible to have too much!
I love a pellet grill
❤ Sorry I'd be the Animal ❤
Best $40 you can spend
That steak is looking mighty fine. Making me hungry.
Take off at 125*
Reverse sear is the only way...lol
Step 1, get a loan.
Well done I don’t eat blood
Love your videos tho
