What I find most interesting is when Amanda says, "How do you k-" the barn looks straight at us. I don't think Sam is Wooly, I think he's the barn because its eyes are bloodshot, and the barn takes in a breath. We still don't know who Wooly is. In the credits of the show, it shows Rebecca as Amanda, but the tape always cuts off before revealing who Wooly's actor is.

I like how not only does Woolie seem freaked out by the fact you know Sam’s name, but the barn and all the chickens look at you, too.
Maybe they are real people/kids who watched the show and got trapped. So of course they would know Sam’s name, it’s at the end credits of every episode.

If you unlock the other secret tapes and read the articles, you find out that Sam is the father of Rebecca, Amanda’s voice actor and character inspiration. Once you find out he went… missing, it kinda becomes clear that Amanda/Rebecca are either one and the same or somehow Amanda has gained Rebecca’s memories/essence.

@@BedPotato786 well the thing is, a plot twist like that would really make the most sense based on the context we have. Everything about Wooly is trying to prevent Amanda from lashing out, even when the monster is making things worse so Amanda snaps. While yeah, we don’t fully know Wooly and his intentions seem vague, it’s clear that all his actions are so Amanda and the player both stay safe. That’s most likely why the monster made him turn into a regular sheep in the end, so he would meddle with its plans. And also we can tell Wooly had been doing a good job keeping the monster contained, it’s only after he’s turned into a full blown sheep is that Amanda does her first giant freak out bc she’s all alone with no one to help her.
With Cory’s theory being Wooly was a character put in the show to distract Amanda from what’s really going on I understand why Wooly noticed Sam’s name

@@Dumbsourplum idk about other channels cause i got a lot of my info and theories from tik tok but the character amanda is actually a real girl named sarah or something (i forgot what her real name is) she was supposed to voice the character amanda but was killed in some sacrificial way for a demon (or maybe it was the just the devil again not 100% remembering it right) the show has ties to a lot of kids going missing i heard and i’m assuming that’s tied to the demon associated with the shows dark origins. Sam is the creator of the show and the girl voicing amanda was his daughter, it’s believed that’s she’s actually dead and rotting somewhere and Wooly isn’t actually a victim in this indie horror but a precaution inserted by the creators of the show disguised as a sidekick with the purpose of keeping amanda from remembering the truth

@@Dumbsourplum Rebecca, Amanda's VA, was killed by the company (the name was Hameln or sth) and her soul got trapped into Amanda. She doesn't know it yet, and everytime she is about to understand what's going on or when she kinda glitches the game, Wooly tries to distract her. For example, when she says that she feels herself rotting, she can feel her real body rotting, and when she asks us if we feel the same, Wooly says that we don't have to answer that. If we answered, she would understand what was really going on. However, I don't think wooly is the bad guy, but more like a tool from the company in order to stop Amanda from receiving or exposing information

I love how in 6:18 she genuinely needs help remembering and wooly trys to prevent her from remembering saying things like “oh we should go home” or sumn like that. I know you aren’t really supposed to like amanda but im pretty sure shes just a child wanting to get back to her parents. Or in 7:23 she seems like she actually needs help and has given up trying to be all smiley.
Theory: Since Wooly said, "I guess you really forgot." and it went to question marks that he has something to do with her father, and maybe her whole lifestyle. She got upset when we did not help the kitten, in which the kitten resembled her. She started to cry, and also, Wooly has been acting like the victim. When Amanda finally came back to her senses and asked if everyone rots, because she thinks her father is dead, Wooly cuts her off and says of course not in a tone a parent would use to convince their child to do something. But, when Amanda says she wasn't asking him, he acts like the victim. Amanda is Rebecca, and ever since she got into the Show, she has not been let out. So, she has tried multiple times to get out of the game through multiple children. Clearly, Amanda is a lost child. She has been trapped for so long---which we notice when she said she forgot her friend's (Kate) name. Amanda is lost because Wooly has taken her in, confused her, told her he was her best friend, and has played the victim of this game for various years. Amanda is only doing what her game malfunctions her to do. Amanda has wanted to be returned to her dad, but apparently, he's gone. Eventually, Amanda begins to be annoyed, and starts to punish Wooly. She starts to grow a monster inside of her and breaks into the player's basement. So, in conclusion, the puffy-haired, scary, trapped, kind-of-nice, heartbroken, girl is not the monster of this story.

Wooly only intervened because the demon was still in control in the rotting clip. If could’ve been dangerous if Amanda kept asking questions because it revealed she knew what was going on and the situation entirely which is why wooly had to be firm with Rebecca. In the sending the letter to Kate tape, the same thing. Wooly knew it was too risky because I think Rebecca had some control in that scene, and she was going to look for help. That’s why he intervened

I think Wooly is the brother who got taken, and when Amanda got left alone after her parents passed away after that she got taken and put into the same thing wooly gets put into,,,, and Wooly has been punished by this program multiple other times for trying to get out in any way so I think he's just trying to protect her from whatever that punishment may be and then in the process she thinks that he's just holding her back from leaving and got corrupted in some way. Idk if I explained that well

So I feel like someone did something to Sam and basically used demons to force Rebecca to be Amanda. I think wooly is trying to keep her in distracted from noticing who she really is. Seeing Amanda break down over the lonely kitten was heart breaking. I feel she may be subconscioully projecting her (Rebecca's) own past onto it, without really realizing it. I don't think Amanda truly knows she's Rebecca, but there are ways to unlock and trigger certain memories of her real self. Wooly not being there to comfort her adds to her feeling extremely lonely, otherwise he probably would have interjected with something like "I know... how about we become the kitten's family?"

Not to be rude but these aren't really "theories," these are things proven by using basic common sense and you'd only think these are "smart" if you take everything at total face-value. Obviously she can hear outside of the TV because that was the _entire point_ of the Mint Chocolate Chip Tape, and obviously the typing is just a stand-in for speaking... what children's television show (or _any_ television show for that matter) has ever needed you to type things to progress, and how would a show ever genuinely rely on the watcher's answers to open-ended questions in order to progress?

After i have watched the whole amanda adventure gameplay, something has been going through my head. So i have a theory, when you wrote amanda/rebecca's father in the first tape you can see the barnhouse looked straight at you, same as wooly. And in the "accident" part where wooly is sobbing out, try to focus on the left screen. Both of the swing are moving, it implies that amanda is not satisfied of wooly's suspicious behavior. And in the next part you could notice the both swing changed it's color, and it's a color coding it means wooly has gotten amanda pissed off. The rotting one where she mentioned what's the opposite of "alive?" It is obviously about her rotting body. And in the end of the game which is the true/good ending she ended off with "Out there. Somewhere." And that somewhere is at kate's house, that's why when you mess up answering amanda's questions. A gigantic blue monster approaches you and kills you. She is buried under kate's house.

It's like Wooly already knows about Amanda and so on, he gets more worried as we progress through.
This may be a little far fetched, but I think the person possessing that barn is Sam himself. Throughout the entire game, even the previous versions, all the other objects have acted similarly, but here this barn is off. The eyes are red, it moves as if it’s about to blow up, and not to mention it looks at you when you type in Sam as if it’s responding to that name. So maybe Sam isn’t dead, but perhaps just trapped.

A theory yall prolly know: So in the credits you can see Rebecca as Amanda ( 6:54 ) It actually makes a lot more sense if Rebeca is AMANDA. Because when she says ''And there's a daddy chicken'' she said it sadly and slowly, probably because her father ''Sam'' went missing. So when you type Sam she's suprised because she didn't know Riley knew her father's name (I think we are playing as Riley)

THE WAY AMANDA SNAPPED AT 4:30 IS SO FUNNY😭😭 She was not having it😭
To be honest, they should make an update to the game, where anytime you tried to put her dad's name in any of the tapes, amanda should react to it, like in the pie scene, when you type her dad's name for the pie or for the knife, amanda should say something like," That's not a pie, silly! Although... that name does sound familiar..." or for the knife, instead of her saying," we can't use that!", Wooly cuts in, saying," w-wait, isn't that your...?" And the TV glitches to amanda automatically holding the knife, saying," That's right! We need a shaaaarp knife!" And to go the further mile, if you put "Sam" in all the tapes, I feel like the player should get an achievement saying," I'm out there... Somewhere." Which would also reference the good ending of amanda the adventurer. But that's just my idea, as I would think that'd be cool to see, but other than that, I love how this horror game has hidden lore, and we all know we'd love to see more of that, in order to further understand Amanda's backstory, and what happened to her actress, Rebecca Colton, as well as her dad, Sam Colton.

I kinda think wooly may be an antagonist. The tapes always make him seem like the victim, but he clearly knows smth more..also, remember in the tape where he "helps" Amanda pick the right card for his birthday so she would think about that and forget about Kate? (I'm still not really sure about Kate's significance in the lore aside from the fact that she would talk about ata in the library to children) also, wooly always seems to try to be Amanda to stop thinking about things that may uncover her past, like when she says she feels herself rotting and wooly trys to shut her up. I think Amanda kinda went crazy and that's why she tried to be rid of wooly so she could finally be free to share her secret with us without wooly stopping her
i mean it’s supposed to be a childrens show💀 first of all he didnt try to get her to forget about kate😂 it only cut to that part after the person playing the game messed up so many times and it glitched to them being in a butchery shop with Amanda not being nice anymore wooly was trying to cheer Amanda up and help her focus on the task at hand which was getting cards and sending them to people😂 she already sent the other card to kate that part been done😂 second of all like i said its a kids show so why would the main character of a kid show be talking about how they feel dead and rotten inside? wooly is supposed to be the “adult” in the situation thats why he steers her into different topics😂 when shes mad hes scared even the barn and animals were scared 😂 would you want your kid watching a show where the main character was talking about performing “surgery” with all types of weaponds on their “friends”, being dead and rotten, going to a butcher shop around dead animal carcasses and weapons, and causing purposeful “accidents” to other people? no you wouldnt😂
