We don't think you lost, we know you lost.

Facts
But he didn’t so…
@BrooklynRaisedMe yes he did without question

I love that Paddy ask for advise good on him
It’s a good sign. I love him dearly and hated to see how he handled a win that was questionable at best.
If he chooses to, he can turn that into the best performance of his life and dig deep.
Whatever the profession, we gotta balance confidence with humility. And humility comes from pain.
Stay a student of the sport and good things will come. 💪🏼
Respect for being honest with yourself.
Deep inside, Paddy knows he really lost to Jard Gordon.
That fight had no real winner/loser
@Joshua Smith Both landed a lot. I gave it to paddy. Would've been happy with a draw.
@Joshua Smith I just re-watched the first round in slow motion. Each exchange I watched a few times to make sure I get it right. I rated each exchange. Each landed strike I gave 1. For extra powerful blows I gave 2 or 3 if it was really damaging. I made sure to be more generous with Gordon than Paddy. Still, Paddy got 54 and Gordon 30. Gordon also got the dominant position on the ground for a few seconds and did very little with it. If we give him 3 points for that it's 54 - 33. Paddy almost doubled him. Before I thought it was pretty even. Now I understand Paddy was way better.
So what GSP said meant absolutely nothing to the stupid mma fans
@@JonathanOvnat great job 👏
This is the vulnerable side of mma we hardly see, thanks 🙏🏽
I sure as hell. Hope you paid GSP to be on your show
Can not believe the GOAT is entertaining this kid.
Regardless of what people think at least he asked one of the Goats for advice. 🐐
you took your time to talk about this but full respect regardless, thanks for owning up it shows a lot about who you really are
He’ll win the fans back if he’s humble, keeps on his mental health awareness push and drops the “I’m the cash cow ‘ere lad” shtick.
Owning it publicly like this is a start, I hope you are keeping your word with Jared in regards to charity stuff.
Definitely go the rematch and put it to bed lad, you can beat him properly.
you’ll judge yourself harsher than anyone… very humble…. A fair guy that’s loving life
Thanks Paddy!!!
Paddy's face from 4:03 on is #truelove with GSP and being a legend
Another thing, we all know damn well Paddy isn't gonna call for the rematch against Gordon. If he does, I think he'll gain alot of people's respect
After Paddy’s talk with Georges, maybe he will want to take some time to reassess the strategy, and do it again. It makes for a really great story in a fighter’s career when they can return to a dark place where they lost, or almost lost, then come out on top in a definitive way.
Sometimes the guy we all know lost actually wins. And he is able to convince himself he actually won. Mostly because that's what the record books show. A win. Any fighter will take that.
Georges is such a great role model for tackling life as a human, not just as a fighter. We can all think of times where we felt like we came up short, or got embarrassed when we were overcome by a situation. I know my instinct as a person is to avoid the places where I’ve performed poorly, or got myself into trouble. Georges has it right: do the hard thing and take yourself back to your losses, figure out how to correct for your past errors, and avenge those losses once you have prepared adequately.
I can’t remember which interview, maybe a JRE appearance, but he’s talked about having too much respect for Matt Hughes in his first fight with him, and too little to Matt Serra, and in both cases lost as a result. He is a really introspective guy with a lot of insight on the human condition. I am curious to see what he does next besides movies.
Respect! 🙏 🤲
i like the advice from GSP
I would love to see paddy live his life like a professional for the rest of his career
Nice one Paddy
"50g Dana, fight of the night. Clear win. Whoever says the fight was close is an idiot"
"I know my last performance wasn't great"
In the moment vs. months later and time for speculation.
People can have a change of heart.
@@mr5timewcwchamp Well, it's not like he apologized calling everybody idiots. Including his opponent.
Run it back asap
Not is gsp the goat but his advice to paddy was awsome just a top person allround.
People should not blame a fighter for something that a judge is responsible for. Paddy showed up and fought like he was supposed to, but he was not in a position to immediately recall what happened during the fight and give a measured response to his question from Joe about whether it was a close fight. Paddy would never have been humble in his post-fight interview because his name is ‘Paddy the Baddie’, so that is his character - win or lose. He seems like a decent enough guy outside the press stuff for ESPN and UFC. Henry Cejudo implied during his fight commentary that Paddy would have done much better if his stances were less upright and incorporated more head movement because then he would not have been hit as much with those punches that wobbled him a little in round 1. That does not seem like a gigantic adjustment to make compared to what his opponent would need to win more decisively with a submission or knock-out, so I think Paddy is still a clearly better fighter than his opponent in general, but I do not think he should have won that last fight.
Paddy doesn't know how to react because he knows deep down he lost. I give him props asking for advice. The way he handled himself in this clip is how he needs to act from now on
A lot of people said GSP lost against Kari Parisyan too, you just can’t let it get to your head. Paddy lost but now he know he ain’t all that, and needs to work harder than ever
Being honest with yourself would be a good step. Being disciplined with eating and training and the rest will follow.
Paddy needs to quickly improve his striking.
Next time don't pick a fight with a journalist for no reason during fight week and focus on the fight instead
I think the bulking and brutal cutting makes Paddy lose some power
Youve been Humbled by the public. You let fame and EGO get ahold of you. Just acknowledge that publicly and apologize. Then be that Humble "every man" people love. Dont act like conor hes a clown.. People will forgive.
Quit gaining the weight. Take this opportunity seriously... slow back down... youll do Great.
Love ya Buddy!!
Goat comment
GSP looking like he got hit by left hook Larry
The perfect time for GSP to say "I'm not impressed by your performance" and he didn't do it 🥺... 😏
you did bru. just say you did
Paddy is the winner! 100% deserved.
Paddy paid him for the interview for sure
The hardest-working MMA fighter of all time giving advice to one of the laziest of all time. Interesting.
You did lose tho😂
It was a very close fight but it wasn't like paddy got his ass beat I'm not a judge but I 💯 still think Nate beat Conor in 2nd fight and Conor got the split
Paddy lost that fight clear as day. He gets smoked by anyone in the top 20
I love these 2 fellas
Bro you lost stop it
I'm a Scouser love you pad but I believe you did lose that
You did lose paddy
I think paddy lost but Jared didn't really win either.
Haha Paddy Pimblet lost and he can't admit it. You are going no where with that type of thinking Paddy, man up and learn from it. The UFC can't gift you a decision everytime, you have talent, go train hard find different coaches and prove everyone wrong otherwise you will be a laughing stock.
2 guy's in a tin shop and speak English with cute 🤢 accents.
Paddy won that fight I don’t care what anyone says. Gordon got a couple good strikes but paddy put combos together and at the end of the night all Gordon really did was lay on him.
You didn't see the same fight
@@armplanet7524 Dana white said the same thing about the fight
@@Scratcherzzz Dana white will always defend his cash cows
@@wreckitrigo230 paddy won the fight. That’s my honest opinion
@@Scratcherzzz that’s fine, but most people would disagree. It’s not paddy’s fault he won the fight I think people are upset of how he handled it. Instead of being humble in victory he show boated acting like it was a one sided beat down. There have been controversial decisions in the past that fighters handle much better
Bro … paddy looks perturbed
No joke :/
Paddy looks stupid up there knowing he lost ..
