I really like your hack videos. It's hard finding new ones without browsing through walls of text in forums, wondering if they're any good or not. You show just enough to make me want to play them without spoiling anything at all
Super Mario Bros Crossover is my favorite.
Not my favorite, but it was amazing for it's time and still is. I always played Link, just cause he was a fun character and had many versatile tools.

It makes me so happy that someone else actually knows about Super Mario Land 2. That was the first Mario game I ever played and actually the first game I ever completed. I mean, going back it is really easy, but it certainly was one of my favorites as a kid. Also, that game has like four characters from other Mario games, which makes it all the more interesting. I would certainly love to see a video about that game at some point.

In case if you also don't know about ICP and where the stick figure and ninja came from, here's some help. the stick figure is the hatchet man, who is one of the many icons for ICP. The ninja is the Magic Ninja, a sorta main character in ICP's movie "Big Money Hustlas". I hope I helped!
'New Mario Bros.' is simply a graphical reskin of 'Mario Bros. Classic', released for the NES in Europe, based on 'Kaettekita Mario Bros.' for the FDS. The more-modern physics are present in both of those games. Both of those have graphics and intros based closer to the arcade version.
The new graphics on that hack, are quite well-done, though.

The first A Koopa's Revenge was a part of my childhood. I haven't played the second game though, but it looks cool.
The second game is amazing, and yeah I guess he could possibly make time for fangames. (since AKR2 isn't a ROM hack)

Super mario crossover is great, i played it like 5 years ago when you could only use different characters, i love how theyve been slowly adding more and more features and characters, really well done. my favorite to use was sophia the 3rd because the flower made her OP and it can climb up walls

One of my favorite NES Mario rom hacks is a rom hack that recreates Super Mario Bros. Special, which was an official game for old Japanese PCs made as a joint development effort between Nintendo and Hudson Soft. Someone recreated it using the original 1985 Super Mario Bros. NES rom

I love how Japan got an actual Mario 2, while everyone else got an actual ROM hack of some other game.

Mario 2 is a rom hack of Doki Doki Panic, and by some reason the abilities became official for other mario games like Super Mario 3D world.
Doki Doki Panic was actually going to be Super Mario Bros 2 in all countries but due to a temporary collaboration with the company that made the DDP characters it had to be reworked. Eventually Nintendo's original vision was able to surface in Japan as Super Mario USA. I'm not sure if this is true now, but that _is_ how I remember _hearing_ it.

Sadly no, it does not. Antdude played the 7th demo of Super kitiku Mario. Here it just spells Super Mario World.
This outdated demo was basically... Well, a demo. No custom music, no endgame and for some reason, no title screen.

Great video, and I'm really looking forward to the SM64-hacking video =) I hope you include all the major important romhacks like *Missing Stars* (first big hack), *SM74* (first full hack with over 120 stars), *Star Road* (probably still the best SM64-hack), *Green Stars* (another really good hack), *Last Impact* (the hack with the most programming put into it) and *SM74: Extreme Edition* (the probably hardest ROM-hack with very unique levels)

I played SMB Crossover hundreds of times ever since it first came out in 2010, when it had no skins and only 6 characters. I pretty much witnessed every update the game had over time. Glad to see it in this video.

Oh... my god... seeing that SMB2 USA hack featuring Insane Clown Posse @2:17 reminded me of something I've been thinking about for a while. I love the original Final Fantasy Tactics and have even beaten the enhanced port on my previous smartphone. When I found out that the PS1 original could be hacked after seeing stuff like Journey of the Five and the various custom stuff on the Final Fantasy Hacktics site, it got me thinking about doing an FFT hack, that involved... get ready for this... Ariana Grande getting sucked into the world of Ivalice, meeting both new and old characters, and fighting a new Ivalician threat and the whole thing is kind of a satire of Celebrity appearances in video games.
Yeah... that sounds very out there... and it's only a vision that I keep having... but I want to create my own Rom hacks one day with a well skilled team... a man can dream...

For the Wicked Clown Bros, the "Stickman" is actually the mascot for their record label. No idea what's up with the ninja, unless they had a song about a ninja, which, knowing a decent amount about ICP, is totally possible.

"New Mario Bros." seems to be based on the revised NES version of Mario Bros. (sometimes referred to as "Mario Bros. Classic") that was only released in Europe in 1993.
Which in itself is a modified version of a Japan exclusive upgrade of Mario Bros. called "Kaettekita Mario Bros." (Return of Mario Bros.), released in the Famicom Disc System in 1988.
The Mario 3 Ultimate uses the Mario sprite of some Mario bootleg game.
