What a lovely message. Thank you for your support it means the world to me. I'll do my best to deliver :)
lovely video sir you can also try to make videos about what life as a dentist is like in uk
I have made a video about the salary but sure I'll try to make something like this in future for you 💖
Hi sir
Ur video has been extremely helpful and it kinda helped me from having a panic attack
I was thinking otherwise if i wont be able to give exam or get the booking wat would happen to my life. I was stressing big time
So you are sure right that theres gonna be provisional registration.
That's right. And I have new news also this month that could give a paid route temporarily while you study for ore. Keep an eye out for the video
Yes please let me know soon
Waiting for ur video .
Ah this will help my friends that are studying abroad outside of the EU
Thank you!
So who is gonna be recruiting the people coming thru the provisional license pathway? Is it gonna be any dentist that is permanently registered with the GDC or would there be like a certain criteria that only dentist with a particular years of experience will be allowed to recruit people thru the provisional license route? And also will the people be recruited into the NHS only or the private practice too?
Hey there, great question and when the GDC release their guidelines on recruitment, I'll do an update. As for now when dentists have their first year of work in the UK, they need to do approximately one year with a mentor, like a foundation year. So I would assume it would follow the same kind of journey and you'd be able to do private+NHS if that's the case. As for who can recruit, I'm assuming it needs to be from dentists with a certain number of years and regulated by their regions
I am a recent graduate and my course was fully in English..Can I get IELTS exemption by providing English reference or proficiency certificate to the GDC??
Thank you for the information, it really motivates me to gather more information about how to practice in the UK for overseas dentists. I had been graduated from a residential prosthodontics program 3 years ago in Indonesia. If I try to practice in England with provisional registration, can I use my specialistic degree or I have to start again as general practice? Thank you 😊
Hey there. You'd have to likely start again as overseas qualifications are not usually accepted in the UK. If you're a pro at prostho, wherever you work will likely give you lots of prostho work so you'll be like an unofficial specialist and make lots of money through this route. Remember, the provisional license will allow you to practice temporarily with the condition to still do the ORE. Best of luck and thank you for your kind words
great video again👌🏽
thank you for sharing these valuable information
i have a question about the process
do you think they will prioritize dentists who have already started the ore process? i was just curious whether to send my documents for gdc now or wait till they officially anounce the provisional registration route?
Hey thanks for getting in touch. For now they're being so quiet about the intricate details that I would be shooting in the dark if I suggested what would be a better idea. However, it would be wise to start registration with the GDC as that usually takes some time and can be problematic. People have told me that they find fault with documents a lot of the time so it's better to at least get the registration done, then there's no real rush to immediately apply for ORE. My advice is to just register and go through the process, hopefully by the time you're all set up, the provisional license route will be ready :)
@@the_stu_DENThi if I register how many months or years I have to take the exams? First I need to pass IELTS Academic (I speak Spanish) I have level b1
@@MagaliEsquivel-uk4pv Hi there, typically it takes 2-3 years because of the backlog of people trying to take the exam, and that's all assuming you pass first time. It's getting better as they are slowly adding more seats to allow more people to sit the exam. But at the end of the day, it is worth it as Dentistry in the UK is a great career choice
Hello, according to you, what would be the criteria for admitting candidates for provisional registration as there would be thousands of applicant who would be applying.Would they give preference to post graduate qualification or experience?
It's very hard to say, and you're right, there will be so many people applying. Most likely will be based on experience more than post grad because they want people to be able to provide general dentistry. That's my opinion but we have to see
How much does this provisional license cost?
It won't cost. You'll likely be paid for it. But they are yet to release guidelines for it. So just waiting for that at the moment
How to get provisional licence, can u explain and show the way in video please.
Hey there. They haven't released the guidelines of how they will give out the provisional licenses yet. So far they have just approved it. When they release specific routes and steps, I'll do an update video
Thank you😇😇
@@zarinwahed9436 You are welcome :)
I am a recent graduate and my course was fully in English..Can I get IELTS exemption by providing English reference or proficiency certificate to the GDC??
Hi sir can you suggest me what should I choose as a final year student ORE or provisional license...As a fresh graduate I will not be as good clinically as a general practitioner who has experience.. should I still go for ORE
Definitely ORE as the exam is based on what you did at uni so it will be very fresh in your mind :) also with the provisional license, it is a way to make salary also so it might not need you to have great amounts of clinical experience. Both will be good options
Hi, I am a dentist from India, currently in Uk. The route of working as a dental hygienist and therapist has been closed. Can i register with the GDC without ORE?
Hey there, unfortunately you'll have to do the ORE. If however, you do apply for the Provisional license when they finally let applicants do so, then you'll be able to come without ORE temporarily until you pass it. So you'll at least earn money and experience
@@the_stu_DENT Thank you for the reply

@@ZaraMalik-x9c You can apply for exemption but I won't be able to comment on it as it is dealt with by the GDC
Would there be requirements like a particular years of clinical experience etc
They haven't outlined the requirements just yet but surely there will be some guidelines. I'll make an update video as soon as there's new information 🐱
Hii, completed my BDS degree from India, currently in Uk as student dependent,am I eligible to work as dental nurse job/dental trainee nurse job in nhs without having any UK certification and nursing certificate
No you are not
Unfortunately that route has been closed now so you can only use ore/LDS or when the provisional route officially opens
Do you need anything in dental equipments
For the Provisional? No, you just need a degree and apply when they open this window and then you'll get a job with a mentor to supervise you
Can I as an undergraduate student do this exam? I’m in my junior year.
Hey, you need to complete the degree first as it's part of registering with the GDC :)
Any idea of how to apply for provisional incase if they start ang my ore application is accepted by GDC and Iam candidate list so am I eligible for provisional registration?
At the moment there's not enough information on the princess because they only just approved it. When they do release new information I'll make a new video ☺️
Thank you for your updates!! Very helpful
@@JustStudyWithMe22 Pleasure is all mine, thanks :)
Bro are you sure if I do any master’s in dentistry from Slovenia or slovekia, don’t need ore? Iam a mds graduate from india. Can you suggest me some options to migrate to UK without the need of ORE. Thanks in advance
Hey there, I never said that :) you'll have to do your bachelors here in the EU for that. Otherwise wait for them to open the window for provisional licenses
Any dea doc when they will open this ?
I thought it would take some time but they're really going quick so I think by next year same time but that is just my opinion
what happens if you do a dental degree, in EEA (e.g. bulgaria or lithuania)?
You won't need to do the ore or the Provisional license. Just apply and you'll get the GDC number through equivalence... This is why I moved to Slovakia to finish my studies lol
