We went from classes with on point identity like Dominator, gritty design, places like Cruma Tower, Monastery of Silence and Tower of Naia to this animesque, mobile-style sort of things...what a tragedy.

I know this comment is a year old, but still: as long as they keep the P2W business model, it doesn't really matter how amazing the game is. Lineage 3 would be ruined the same way Lineage 2 and Aion did. If they really wanna go F2P, they should profit from skins and cosmetics. Stuff that affects in game balance destroys MMORPGs. I started playing the official servers back when Goddess of Destruction launched (played private servers before), and I remember the economy being amazing. You could buy some powerful gears for 10kk. Nowadays the same items cost around a billion, and the most powerful items can cost over 999kkk adena. It's impossible to play it without spending money, unless you wanna grind forever. I lost all faith I had for NC to he honest.
Best to quench that belief. They did release it and its called "throne and liberty".
Very disappointing game. It was basically a mobile game.
So sad that L3 was turned into a cash grab game to apease the investors.
@@rafabarbozaofficial after grand crusade is totally unplayable.You need 1 Trillion adena just to get the basics to farm in the first areas at lvl105, basically as a new player you need around 2500$ or more to start playing pve,for PVP you need more than 10k$

There are 2 types of companies
first is : $grabs, auto combat,run, mobile $$ stuff prioritizing ( ^ yup they are like this )
second is: they want to be in our hearts and left something behind them to make gamedev a better place.

This is a fresh start. A new opportunity. Please address at least some of the actual issues on the other L2 versions. Bots, P2W, etc...
There are many people out there willing to get back to L2, but issues must be fixed first.

Tem que sair um Line Age 2 com tecnologia blockchain e NFT, isso salvaria o jogo. Não seria pay to win e não teria atualizações apelativas que fazem o jogo perder a sua essência. Melhor mmo que já fizeram.
The NCsoft Louncher can't donwload the game, i'v changed the region, take off all firewall, try to use interlude to upload lineage but all this can't make the louncher download the game... someon can help?

Utter trash, still trying to milk this game for all its worth. Just deliver lineage 2 remastered and stop with the pay to win servers
They are not "milking it", the game came out in 2003 and its actually amazing to see the game alive and getting updates up until now. Also, forget l2 remaster or even the continuation of the Lineage franchise, since Lineage Eternal died and project LT replaced it. Ncsoft is working on new ips and mobile games. So yeah, sadly Lineage is off. But it's nice to see L2 still alive, might come back to see how it's going.

point and click are fun on the phone or on some OG games like ragnarok, L2 uses unreal engine which has WASD in its source code. so why did they remove it?
@@revanshan3308 Probably because it was never implemented in the first place.
Recent versions of unreal engine have WASD in its "source code" by default, however, the older versions like 1 and 2 by default didn't have it yet, because the software development kit for the end users did not exist yet.
So any use of it was highly frameworked and custom, to the point where instead of creating games from templates and many examples to chose from like we do nowadays- they created it from scratch using just engine code and default tools.

@@-ColdAsIce dont confuse Hell Knight with DK... they are 2 diferent animals... HK is way better dps/sustain tank than his new class... this class is all about show up and sparky skills... is more like a dagger class but with a sword and the looks is kinda weir
@@lordwarcraft666 I'm going to repeat, the Death Knight exists since Lineage ONE (the 1998 game), it just wasn't in Lineage 2 up until now.
