- In the Rune Township, a joyous wedding ceremony is held.
Halfway through, the wedding ceremony is ruined by a group of intruders, and the bride is killed during the attack.
Heroes arrive from all over the continent to avenge her death.
Meanwhile, avoiding confrontation, the Lord of Goddard Castle tries to divert their attention to the Forge of the Gods!

Decided to watch this again in 2023, damn can't believe it has been 14 years so far, so many great memories I had with this game, the nostalgia is real, that dion theme and the trade chat just spamming WTB SSD, all those raids, clan wars, epics ahh.. what wouldn't I give to experience that again..
Yah but c4 came out in 2006 not in 2009 so the video technically is 17 years old.
if not for that cast + sleep + cast + sleep hax, it would be the best chronicle
The old times has passed. Im glad i played on c3-c4 chronicles when this game was FREAKING EPIC. Servers 5k+ online. Magical times. But we have to get over with it these times will never come again. The new era of gaming has already come and we are the last survivors ....
L2Reborn Signature coming November 1st!! C4>C5>C6 progressive. 5k+ players expected. Hype is REAL.

C4 was probably the most succesful chronicle of all, not necesarly because of the balance ( haha, c4 = necro's era ), but by it's level of popularity. When c4 came out, it brought an impresive update at that time and the srvr's population ( both oficial and private ) has reached numbers that were never seen before or after it . The game had then that something that made it feel EPIC !
C4 = Best chronicle of the game,... after that the downfall started.... :(

By far the Best Game ever created and the only thing it needs, its to rebuild the graphics and make an official C4 and C6 server again. :)

This is my longest Adventure with games ... i have got a small tear in my eye because i meet here lot's of best friends ... this is my bestest game online ... but ncsoft spoiled all... when add Kamaels ... and other stupid things ;] Lineage 2 chronicle 1,2,3,4 rox ! forever !!
aaah... the first time i played this game it was on this chronicle. I remember i had a spellhowler and i'd sleep very few hours so that i'd make it to the first raid boss parties. that was the first and last game i'd ruin my sleep for a video game. Good times, lol. Definitely the best mmorpg i've ever played. Interlude was the last time this game was good imho. I'm going to try godess of destruction soon but i doubt it's going to be half as good as this.

Such a shame this game died after that expansion >.< still the best MMO ever made imho.
It did not died, it just changed. I don't like the new expansions either, but the game is still going on and a lot of people are still playing it on the official servers. And there are also plenty of private servers on the newest expansions. :)
It was well alive after c4, all the way to like h5. It was great until somewhere around t1. GoD killed it completely

That's the l2 I remember.. and I want it back, to discover it all over again...
Those epic armors and weapons, designed for a true player.. Those epic raids are like icons of something powerful and grateful. I remember times when they were something fearful and respectful at the same time. Bravery of those characters to stand in non-equal fight.
And now.. I don't even know names of new top raids and items. Not mentioning those star wars skills...
God i miss real l2 so much :( good ol times.

@KonicavaBR whoa reply to 8yo post :D well since most people started playing in c4 c5 i dont think c6 aka interlude was the end, more like hellbound and kamael . Some actually enjoyed gracia and h5 is still going strong in private servers. If c6 aka interlude didnt had augments and later they didnt introduced atributes things might be diferent...
@KonicavaBR i know what you mean, but after year or two it became boring to run around from town to town or zone to exp, we did that milion times and l2 is huge grindfest, so they needed to make it more similar to world of warcraft and etc with instances, quests for exp and items etc. I also enjoyed first time shipping from gludio to giran, running from gludin to gludio to dion on foot, but it was newbie times and it was fun, later we knew every corner of map and people now want fast lvl fast items fast endgame to fight in pvp and oly, sadly it happens to all mmorpg games after some time. Wow had same thing ,they also tried to make classic like l2 and also failed, cause its not really that much of chronicle problem but the players and community.

i see all theis ppl saying rthat all the new expansions suck and all, but you know what i started playing this game on GOD when in got free and i love it, and out of curiosaty i tried the old chroicles to see what the fuss you all do about it was, and to be honest i dont understand becouse those old things suck compared to what the game become imo, the game became differente yes, but better to, you guys need to take off those glasses of nostalgy.
you cant understand, coz the almost of best memories of the players are related with this old chronics.

+Zacarias Recabarren as someone who has played lineage 2 since chronicle 1 ... I still enjoy GOD better , because it has all come down into gameplay the most. Game has changed it is no way the same with the choatic chronicles or even the kamaelic chronicles... But Vongola is def correct game is better now no matter what u say. But that doesnt mean people will like it the same. When we all started we were young and were playing with all our real life friends non stop in lan etc... nothing is the same.
+The23520 You entirely miss the point of the "RPG" element in a game. I started playing in C2 and the game just kept getting better with every chronicle because they added depth to the lore, the thing with GoD is they broke that, they destroyed every village, every lowbie area, every quest! and everything that made each race/class unique and replaced it with a cliché of "you're the chosen one" narrative and easy to Awaken mode. I don't know what happened after GoD, but when I played they completely erased my favourite class, which was duelist, when I awoke and sent years of practice to the ground. There's no RPG element in this game anymore and that's what I meant, this game is just countless hours of farming adena or very little numbers of exp and that makes me really sad, because I love this game to pieces, now I've read that they're merging servers and that means the player base is getting lower and lower. I just hope NCSoft has more lineage for us in the future, because L2's fate looks sealed.

most people quit because of the l2 store... and specific events that changed to some kind of buying stuff from l2store to get better rewards... (btw duelist is kinda back but still different...) the game and gameplay is different but the lore changed indeed... But what i still am talking about is the gameplay , farming or even pvping is different... anyways if u didnt enjoy it then its up to you... see ya and have fun
