They do this with every new class (Warden & Necro) they make them broken so people will buy the DLC to play it and balance it after a couple of months.
Yep, good old abuse of that psychological trait in competitive pvp players! Making other also competitive players having to get the class in order to keep their digital alpha male egos happy! Good business tactic! 🤣🤣 Usual stuff in GW2 actually🤣🤣 Classsssic marketing.

Wait till you see the pre made group finder no one talks about.. its a trial finder. You can find a group from dungrons, pvp, questing and any activity with random groups.. thats a massive win

It would be wild if they had brought back the glitch where DK’s could leap into keeps with that portal since the pts doesn’t have cyrodill for testing . Also on pvp on PlayStation it seems the lag is improving some what
Was I the only one hoping for a class with Destruction, Restoration and Conjuration tree more reminescent of classic TES magic schools? People praise the looks so far but it rather feels like a WoW Warlock to me than TES 😢
4:55 yea it’s a high telegraphed streak for a ball group won’t be that hard to play against if you have a well comped out group
this kind of highly specific thematic class would be cool if a) the class would be very diverse in their mechanics and b) no standardization of skills and effects...something like black desert, or diablo, or gw2, where classes have unique mechanics and play very differently - but in eso where everything is standardized and classes are only archetype husks anymore, this is way too specific of a theme that will not play any different and people will just be left disappointed

The synergy will have a 20 second cool down? Will stop the utter spam ? Even more so if you have to take the synergy yourself to port

The powers of Hermaeus Mora and the black books in Skyrim was lame IMO although if we go by history ZOS will bring this class out to be OP above all in PVP least for 3 months
When would the Q2 PTS start before they start talking about the arcanist in the Patch notes?
Even if there’s a cap to how many people can go through the portal ball groups will just run more arcanists

I haven't played since U35 but seems like they haven't fixed the combat system. New class seems like a desperate move. Who ever heard of the the arcanist...
Totally agree, I even donated all my materials and money to another player after 36 cause I hadn’t played since 35 and after the reveal i doubt ill come back. A new class is not worth the purchase when its going to be op for 6 months before they nerf it into the ground but still wont fix Leap or Incap strike over 120 ultimate.

Yeah no mention of pvp, no talk about fixes or even talk of what changes are coming for reward structure. Just a new class thats going to be broken for 3-6 months before they nerf it into the ground just to sell the dlc and then more game breaking bugs with that nerf. Im glad i stopped playing after update 35. They clearly are showing that they are not touching pvp and that they truly dont care about feedback or to fix the game they keep breaking

Seeing how you can tp on something higher than you that would be unreachable otherwise and knowing what this company is capable of, this portal skill will probably break lots of their area design 😂

Simply just make it infinite people can go through the portal but if your in a group of 4 or more no more than 4 can teleport through. There is the fix!

Looks nothing like warlock, more like stukov + medivh from hots. Sorcerer matches lock more, with pets (demons) and I see no affliction or destro gameplay here. Lots of classes have portals in many games lol.

I wished they revamped the destro staff, and all weapons overall. i can't play this game anymore as it gets boring and repetitive fast. How about a spear weapon , why they never introduced a new weapon is ridiculous. I can see players teleporting in a 4man dungeon to reach the final boss fast rinse and repeat 😩

I LOATHE new classes, the one of BIGGEST issues in this game is constant restarting on progress. This game has no real evolution just a constant cycle of resets. A new class is not bringing something new its something that we are familiar with, tutorials play and another hard grind back to the 3k cp system..
Herma mora is dope but the way you implemented the deadric prince of fate and knowledge is horrible. No black books? There are an infinite number of black books and they were one of the most Ineresting things in the dragonborn dlc so how did you miss this opportunity.
Lastly stop making new classes and make new skill lines, I feel this new update will be better received if you offered 3 new skill lines that revolves around finding black books and earning the black books through the storyline and other side quest. Allowing both new and vet players to expand in both lore and their builds. This saves spaces and resources as well for not needed a new character slot or the wasted time of logging out to switch gear and ect.
STOP MAKING NEW CLASSES AND MAKE NEW SKILL LINES!! Balance wise this opens up many opportunities to allow for other classes to catch up if they feel under performing as well instead of making yet another class you have to Balance with the previous poorly balanced ones.
You still have time to fix this:
1. Change from new class to 3 new deadirc skill lines.
2. Add black books to the quest that unlock the new skills and morphs making the storyline worth playing.
3. Bring some level of difficulty or vet play for the questline to feel like an immersive threat to be played solo or with guild mates/friends.
4. Pay attention to this thread and your long playing fan base, we don't like to restart over and over so stop doing that and just evolve the game by adding new skill lines and counters to what ever seems over powered, no more nerfs. We want to achive CHIM.
