We're back with another fire episode featuring my mentor, one of the best defensive-minded and Super Bowl-winning coaches in the NFL, current DC Defenders defensive coordinator, Gregg Williams! It's been a long time since the Commanders had a draft like this. Coach G-Dub and I break down all the draft picks that the Commanders selected, alongside giving them a grade. There is no way that Jayden only runs a 4.50, that has to be an old time from a few years ago. From looking at the film and seeing him split defenders, as well as running away from SEC DB's I think JD is closer to a low 4.4 or 4.3 maybe

Nice show! My second time viewing. I really like Gregg Williams.
It’s not about the x’s and o’s, it’s about the jimmys and joes. This is the exact opposite of what Rivera did with his roster. Never put players in positions that suit what they are good at. Would basically try and fit square pegs in round holes. Did not work. Excited that Quinn uses his players to their strengths and schemes around them.
Especially on defense. WJax, Forbes, Davis, Landon. All misused. There's probably more. Him and Del Rio took forever to adjust on top of it.
Damn I wish I saw more Gregg W while I was still playing. What a guy!
Nothing but RESPECT for coach Williams. Always believed you should have got the job after coach Gibbs retired.

This was a great episode for real bro. Was great to get into the deep dive with one of my favorite defensive coaches of all time and I respect the heck out of him. I always said he should have become hc after Gibbs but I think he didn't want to work directly under "Dan S" aka he who shall not be named 😂

Watch film on Hampton before handing out A's, he has really significant flaws on tape. The single worst tackler I saw in this draft class and was consistently stuck on blocks and nowhere near the play. I'm guessing they have a specific role his athletic traits match better because if it wasn't for the size and stuff he's nowhere close to being drafted.
