My Cooler Master Silent Pro Gold 1200w PSU started having issues three weeks ago where it would overheat and shutdown after only 10-30 minutes of very light use (well under 300w), If I tried to actually play a game and cranked up the GTX-780ti OC it would shut down in under 10 minutes. Cooler Master support was really great. They obviously had issues getting a replacement for me and I mentioned I would be willing to pay a small upgrade fee to get the new V1200 as a replacement. BTW, I had no idea anyone else had done this and I only saw this video today. Anyhow, my new V1200 Platinum arrives tomorrow and they did not charge me any upgrade fee. BTW, I was only 2.5 years into the 5 year warranty on the Silent Pro Gold 1200w. Cooler Master tech support has always been great. When I needed to upgrade old cases, for instance to update the front panel on my HAF-922 to USB 3.0 from the USB 2.0, they only charged me $14 for the entire panel with the new audio and USB connectors. They also had the new cables alone for $7. They are always very pleasant to talk to as well, a great bunch of guys.
Umm, Unless your beautiful case does not have vent holes underneath the PSU (it appears that it does have them) then your PSU is mounted upside down. YOu always want to be drawing in outside the case air rather than the warm air inside the case. This will keep the PSU cooler. I have to admit though, that with this awesome PSU and its 94% efficiency that it will have in your setup will produce very little heat. I noticed the heat sinks inside this PSU are much smaller than the ones in my old Silent Pro Gold because it really doesn't need them to be large even thought it cranks out even more amps. I think you'll find the V1200 label on the other side will also be right side up on this side when you flip it.

The cable management is much better as everything is modular and not just the peripheral cables. Apart from that it is doing a stellar job.
