I have 3 OG Xbox and they are all from 2005 I was worried about the clock fuse. From 2001-2004 they have to be replaced or taken out. They didn’t even put the fuse just due to the 360 coming out

Those power supplies are dangerous as hell.
The 2 pin connector on the back of my original xbox got loose for some reason. When the xbox would start, it would actually spark and create smoke because I think that the connector was loose or leaning on something. I'm looking for a 12 pin power supply replacement for this one since I plan on modding it to support a bigger hard drive in the fairly near future.

This happened on the earlier power supplies because they didn't use anchor points on the connectors which you will see on later power supplies, so after plugging and unplugging so many times it began to break the solder joints and that would cause sparks. Microsoft issued a recall and released a new power cord with a breaker to prevent house fires. If you have one of these power supplies you just need to reflow or add solder on the joint to ensure a solid connection and then you can either hot glue or epoxy the connector in place so that it can't flex ever again when plugging in a cable. As long as the solder was reflowed and the connector is held in place it is completely safe to continue using, but very dangerous if those improvements aren't made. Before attempting this fix turn on your Xbox and pull the cord from the wall then hold down the power button for 15 seconds to discharge the power supply, otherwise you risk getting the shit shocked out of you and damaging your Xbox.
