Would like to point out that two of their best players of the last decade, Kompany and Zabaleta, were brought in just before the big money came in, that's some serious gems, and they were totally overlooked in this video

City have only won 3 sporadic titles in 10 years. United actually won a Champions League and a Europa League along with 3 titles at the same time.. the biggest and most telling difference is that City haven't been able to grow their fanbase or gain interest from fans despite all the success they spent money on.. The most embarrassing match day attendance in the top flight and the owners know this, panicking and spending endless money on PR and marketing.. Unfortunately for City though you can't buy relevance, most football fans around the world don't see their success as legitimate and even United fans cheer for City when the likes of Liverpool are going for the title- that's how insignificant City are despite all the billions spent.

Really great insight into the approach from City and looking on their current situation and environment, it has all stemmed from this. The Mark Hughes appointment to start their journey was always and will be a questionable one and his signings and the money spent reflect's that. A move for Mancini was the right direction and he had to tidy up the mess left behind by Hughes. Then Pellegrini came in and being an Ex Real Madrid Manager who had won the league was a huge move and now Pep. Recruitment is unbelievable and where City are now is really exciting.

If Liverpool win title, I'm gonna give city fans some proper banter. It's easy to be cocky when you have infinite Billions.
I don't hate on city, city are a great team great coach probably best coach of all time.
All I don't get is how city fans can't admit that having a multi billionaire with infinite funds dose help and is a main reason for there success.

@@craigmullen6784 there's having money and there's having serious money.
Even teams like Arsenal who make profit let's say 80mill which they have done at times and money from TV rights and so on still can't compete financially with the few billionaire sides.
Chelsea have a billionaire but Chelsea thought short term and respect to city thought long term improved youth team facilities to improve young talent, smart move, Chelsea take note.
I'm just saying there a big difference to multi billionaires and millionaires.
City can make a bad investment and it won't hurt owners pocket same as PSG
Say van dike had a career ending injury that's 75mill we can't just pull out of a hat,
If man city spent 70mill on a player and he got career ending injury 70mill is water of a ducks back to city, they wouldn't feel that 70 million loss financially like other teams would, city would just go buy another player of equal quality and value.
Unlike Chelsea, city have invested smartly and Chelsea just thought short term and didn't think about youth.
The big difference now is pep his amazing
City are a quality side no doubting that.

So many jealous fans in here... Lol.
United fans most likely... A member of"The Cartel Clubs" (with Arsenal and Liverpool) who think football began in the 90s (when they were unfairly bankrolled by external parties). That's history now.
City fans, like fans of almost every club, have always said you need money to win the league... More than just money but you need money... Well divvies we have proved what everyone else you knew about you buying your prior success.
For fans of other clubs we hope you're enjoying our football. We play to win with attacking style and class... We wanted a Barcelona style as soon as we were took over. We've chosen not to rely on false media reports, aggression, paid off officials and media, defending with counter attacks, mind games, 1-0s etc.
The CHAMP100NS role on and we are indeed building a dynasty.
The haters can continue hating... 6 years since winning the league, spending loads and still in 6th... Most fans want United relegated, like Juventus, let's hope you are found out for those brown envelopes at home and in Europe.
