I will never forget their sheer arrogance when they were challenged about the GRR bill not being put to the people. They scoffed at the idea and said parliament has decided to democratically pass it into law. They never put it to the people because they knew over 70% of Scots were dead against it.
@@ravd8082 I don't think they have ever put the people of Scotland first. Since the day in 1934 when they used nazi money to form their party, they have had one goal and one goal only. It never seemed to matter what effect their policies had on the folk of Scotland as long as they achieved a break from England. Even during WW2, their leaders were colluding with the enemy, planning how to help the Germans when they invaded England. One Arthur Donaldson, who became SNP leader in 1960, was interned during WW2 for attempting to contact the enemy.
Perhaps the members of the SNP should think about forming a new party that does not have such a shady and treacherous past.
