LEFKADA, GREECE (PART 1)|Stunning Mylos Beach & Dining Alfresco in the Mountain village of Exanthia

- When our lovely Greek friends Voula and Panos invited us to their hometown of Lefkada, Greece we couldn’t say no 🇬🇷
Lefkada Island (on the west coast of Greece) is connected to the mainland by a long causeway and floating bridge. It was our first time visiting and something tells us it won’t be our last. But shhh 🤫 don’t tell anyone. Part of what we loved about this island was the lack of foreign tourists. Not to mention the stunning blue waters 🌊
In this video we visit Mylos Beach and dine alfresco in a mountain village away from the crowds. It was heaven! ❤️

Thank you so much, love your vlogs! They feel authentic and relaxed, you’re not trying to rush. Do you have any favorite restaurant recommendations on Lefkada from your trip? We were told Rachi is a must! Any town/village works). Also, do most restaurants have menus in English? Going to Lefkada in a little over a month and can’t wait!
Aw thank you so much for watching and commenting 😍 yes we heard Rachi was worth checking out but didn’t get round to it. We also heard Amente is very good with beautiful views. To be honest all of the meals we had were brilliant. We particularly liked the ones we had in the mountain villages which feature in these vlogs. It’s also worth checking out the harbour at Nikiana. There are a handful of lovely restaurants there right by the waters edge. And yes everywhere we went had menus in English. Have a fantastic time!!

Thanks for watching 😊 we actually stayed with a friend so we didn’t do any research into accommodation but I’m sure there will be plenty of places to choose from. Lefkada Town is really bustling and we also loved Vasiliki in the South. Enjoy your holiday!
PS…..you need to take one of those Moggies home with you!
