What We Do in the Shadows follows four vampires who’ve “lived” together for hundreds of years. In Season 3, the vampires are elevated to a new level of power and will encounter the vampire from which all vampires have descended, a tempting Siren, gargoyles, werewolf kickball, Atlantic City casinos, wellness cults, ex-girlfriends, gyms and supernatural curiosities galore.

Imagining that all the annoying comments you see online are from energy vampires is strangely comforting.
Now that's looking at the glass- I mean human half full.
It's actually not as big a stretch as you think ;)
Suddenly the world makes a bit more sense!
I mean....that is what trolls literally are. We tell you not to feed em for a reason.
The gesture Nandor makes when he says 'ARISE' is probably, if I had to pick one, my favourite joke in the whole thing so far. It just tickles me.
I have a rotation for top 3 favorite jokes or scenes. The first talking heads for Nadja and Laszlo in s2 e1 when she goes "*cough cough* told you so" and then Laszlo goes "*cough cough* ya fcking didn't," with that head and hand gesture... 😂😂😂 kills me
@@meltharion316 hahahaha yes. So many of my favourite things in the show aren't 'gags' as much as tiny little acting choices that just crack me up. The email curse one where Laszlo throws his arm up 'Don't look, my darling! It's too dangerous!' and Nadja leans past him to eyeball the camera :D
For me it's this and the "We drank the blood of some people, but the people were on drugs, and now i'm a wizard!" honestly caught me off guard

The mailer demon joke was probably the best one. It had me laughing so hard the first time i saw it

One of the writers said in an interview that his children were an inspiration for the "guess what..." joke since children can be energy vampires. This show is one of the best I've ever seen. Everbody I had watch it was hooked in an instant

A local reenactor was giving out some coins a couple years ago. I got one and looked it up; a British Halfpenny. One of the most counterfeited coins in the British Americas. (I wonder how he got his...)
Anyway, even without provenance the things go for $20+ each nowadays. If he didn't have other income streams, I'd assume to know how he pays his bills ;-)

Seems there was a way-back relative working a mill here in the Northeast that pumped them out around that time and the diecutters would circulate them. Good to know that my neurons aren't completely bashed by age yet! Lol

I literally work with an office FULL of Energy Vampires...had to sit through a story about how our Warehouse managers kid is taking Hula lessons and I thought I was going to jump out a window.
This is the only kind of situation where those Apple smart I-glasses would be worth the money, for sheer self-preservation.

I’m struggling to see how the vampires differ from most of the users I used to support in ICT support roles. Albeit the bald vampire with glasses looks familiar, I feel like I’ve met a lot of his relatives.

This is just me, helping my parents with technology. It’s more frustrating than funny how out of touch they are.
Don't worry. In just a few decades, your kids or grandkids will keep trying to explain to you how to make the subtle hand gestures for your home 4D Holodeck and Trans Mat beam. Because you'll still be too creeped out by uncanny valley syndrome to have a common house robot to do it for you.
