More people need to be open to expressing pure emotions openly, and honestly. It's really sad that people will think you crazy for saying something like 'I love you' without being in a serious relationship. I would risk my own life to try to save another, is that not love?

      ILove Knawledge
I was born in 2000, and Mr. Roger's Neighborhood was running on PBS, and My Mom always made Me watch it. I eventually outgrew it, but I am so grateful I watched it when I was younger. It prepared Me to experience life easier, and set me up to deal with a couple of life's challenges so far.
If I ever have kids, I will no doubt, make it so that they watch Mr. Rogers as well, as they grow up.

He came off as more of a grandfather figure, and was very realistic and could relate to modern times. He wasn't afraid to show emotions. He was the kind guy that generations of kids saw on the tv, and now those kids became adults and teach their kids some of the things that Mr. Rogers taught them.

I was still a kid watching Mr. Rodgers when they stopped airing new episodes, when he passed away, and when, as far as I could tell, they stopped airing episodes in general. He was such a huge part of so many people's lives. I wish he was in my life for longer as a kid. He was such a lovable man.
I am 20 years old and despite the short amount of time he was in my life, he still inspires me. I try to be as open minded and loving as him and other kind people like him.
I don't plan on ever having children because I'm really not fit to give them the life they deserve due to my mental health, but I plan to help raise all my friends children and show them Mr. Rodgers and teach them about the world and how beautiful it can be if you let it be.

He understood to not underestimate the emotional and comprehensive depth of a child and that they need patience and to talk to them on the same level of respect you would an adult so they can understand the world around them.Know it was okay to be frustrated or sad, that fears can be addressed, take the time to understand other people cause they are not as different as you think. And the world can be scary but there are also wonderful things in it too and to not be afraid to live in it. We do need more shows like Mister Rogers especially today.
