Aitana deserves it, she has been playing fantasticly all the season. When Alexia was missing, she took the responsability and won it all this year. Ballon d'Or as well on December.
Congrats to Haaland for having such a historic season. Never heard of Aitana but might have to check her out after this. She seems like she has a good character plus she won player of the year. Congrats to both.

Aitana is such a great footballer! She has a great team around her but she deliberately plays to constantly make them better and help them score, always thinking about everybody else… she must be getting tired of everybody wanting to hug her all the time lol. To have such a skilful and magic player also be such a shining example of sportsmanship in the game is an inspiration to everybody!
