it's like NBA evolved with Allen, from slasher to pure shooter.
Great to extend your career. Players should look at guys like him so they can last in the league for awhile
He was always a pure shooter
Still a slasher though😂
Pure sharp*
@Kenway All Facts Bro
Bucks Ray Allen was a baaaaddd man.
Rui Prasatya lets be real ray allen in general was a bad man
young hooper yea noooo🧢😂😂😂
rcs ay no cap means no lie it’s a good thing
@@freshprinceofflorida8751 lmaoo, I was drunk, I didn't even see the cap emoji. My bad!
rcs ay u good😂😂😂
He was CLUTCH.
Most of these are in the final seconds of close games.
Once per season will do that I think it'd be confirmation bias
*These highlights are chosen from up to 82 games he could miss 5 make 1 and you'd still call him that based on this video this comment is so dumb
Yeah ask lebron he knows
@@tykimikk8048 😄😄👍
@@kevinjamesmartin7127 ive watched ray allen throughout his career.. how in the blue hell could anyone NOT call him clutch.. and I'm not even talking about the Miami shot.. dude has numerous game winners and clutch shots.
Boston's announcer when Ray Allen hits for three makes you happy Everytime
Aye I'm with you on that. Sounds too good
Yup. Music to my ears
Watching him shoot a 3 pointer was beautiful. It was a master piece.
yap it was in the era when shooting 3s were done out of necessity and frowned upon by most coaches not until steve kerr revolutionized and made it the warriors main offensive weapon in 2014-15 leading to the crown. .
He had a beautiful game...that ankle injury slowed him down but can't stop a clutch shooter
There was a time when Ray Allen was more known for slashing and dunking than shooting
Exactly. That's the kind of Player he was when he first came into the NBA.
He was a franchise player at Seattle and gave up the stats to win, he was at his very peak putting up 26ppg and knew he wouldnt see as much of the ball at Boston. Huge respect for him. Technically brilliant , calm under pressure.
The main Ray I remember
Because back in the 90s, you’ll be chewed alive by your coach if you attempted more that 4 three pointers.
dagnut Mil trading Ray for an aging Payton still doesn’t make sense to me.
Jesus Shuttleworth🔥🔥🔥 H.O.F. Well deserved great career Walter Ray Allen 💯👊🏽
Young Ray Allen was NASTY! God I didn’t know he could dunk like this
I’m glad that they showcased how good of a finisher he was
Most people just think of him as a shooter, they truly do not know the full story of Ray Allen’s career.
Jesus Shuttlesworth!
0:35
"Back out to Allen, his 3 pointer, BANG! Tie game with 5 seconds remaining!"
Spurs do not have a time out!
Damn ray ray posterized tmac
😂😂😂 he was a slasher and a shooter, I bet a lot of you guys never knew that.
Baymella until kobe make him go to the 3
I knew that
@@strive4grness238 😂
@@strive4grness238😂 had him changed his play style💀💀
Baymella ik😂😂
From Seattle, Ray Allen was my fav player in late 90's. I had a Bucks Allen jersey & stickers back then. Ran strait to the team shop when he was traded to the Sonics! Played ping pong with him at a fan appreciation event. Thanks for the memories Ray. We will retire #34 in Seattle soon!
Consummate Professional/Competitor and stone cold killer in crunch time, great player, what a great solid career.
I thought he was just trained to shoot but after I watched this clips everything's changed and the rest is history for my iconic idol, wow!
Grew up in Boston.
I remember watching him back at UConn and became a fan.
When he joined the C's and helped bring another banner home...that was so awesome to see.
The organization NEVER really showed their appreciation for you while you were here or after you were gone (hence Giannis being #34) but I think I speak for a lot of people when I simply say thank you Ray 😊 -Milwaukee, WI resident
Giannis was number 34 before he retired
@@patrickcallahan3626 He should’ve never been able to wear it to begin with...back MVPs and bounced out of the Playoffs/Bubble pretty easily...overrated
@@tremain7056 I know that I’m not a fan of him matter of fact my team beat him soo yeah that’s why I’m watching this bc of ray
@@tremain7056 I do agree he is overrated
This was a good tribute video. His roots, his development, his peak and then capping it off with him showing he's still got it.
The part of ray allen game is underated his ability to create his own shot and also his ability to handle the ball and his athleticism.
J Shuttlesworth...... My fav 3 point shooter That last season when the AC was turned off in the stadium He got that bounce back and was balling.
Reporting the video if the shot isn’t here
What shot
Luke Sanchez it’s his 3 pointer not history pointer
@Luke Sanchez oh yea lol
Luke Sanchez but history pointer does? Idiot
Luke Sanchez idiot
Damn. Ray Allen was a beast with Milwaukee. I remember those days. And to think, Milwaukee traded him away for a half year rental in Gary Payton. SMH
Jesus Shuttlesworth!
The clutchest 3 points shooter ever
@@sheldonwinston4500 Dont play Allen like that Sheldon
I think you can also put Lillard on this conversation.
@@sheldonwinston4500 Love Reggie but Ray is clutcher imo
@@samuelselnegro474 Nah Allen saved a finals series dame two first round series
@@homie_g8948 Never said Dame is the best just said he should be amongst the clutchests three point shooters. BTW Lillard secured a conference finals with the shot over PG 13.
His 3 pointer in Game 6 vs San Antonio - I love Ray Allen!
Seattle Ray Allen is prime Ray Allen.
Nolay Austin Still averaging 20 ppg. He was still a superstar
CLEVELAND CAVS a season before he went to Boston he was averaging 26 points per game however after he signed with the Celtics he never averaged 20 points again.
Javi Garcia in a lower scoring NBA than now, where a big man could take time to set up in the post
Javi Garcia only reason he never averaged 20 a game for Boston was because you had 3 ball dominant players in rondo, PP, and KG, but make no mistake take ray off that team Boston wouldn't have won anything from 2008-2010
Amen!
With every team he played with he had a different role, i love that about him. He can fit with any team, give him a role and he'll play it. Don't see much of that now..
some how i would want ray allen never traded to the celtics, prime ray allen was a joy to watch and you get to see his full game, he was a top guard with superior shooting skills.
Too bad Sonic trade him for KD. Imagine if he stay.
ray allen shooting form is the best. work of art
Loved watching him play when he was with Seattle. Good times! We miss you Super Sonics ✊
He is complete technical nba player superstar in all time after that he is focus in shooting every where any where in the court.
What an enormous undersell in the commentary @ 1:00, that play in that situation was absoultely insane.
Ray Allen The Legend, The G.O.A.T & An True Icon!
2x NBA Champion
10x NBA All Star
1x Olympic Gold Medal
Best catch and shoot player ever
Mike Breen's BANG perfectly compliments "The Shot" in Game 6 2013 finals damn!
That last dunk tho was straight fire. Prime everlasting
Ray Allen my favorite NBA player
Legend
most people dont remember that he was an elite all around offensive player, it wasnt until he went to the heat when he turned into mainly just a shooter. And his whole career he was a solid defender.
Young kids would never know just how good Ray Allen was and he wasn't just a 3pt specialist he could do it all. Also Ray Allen don't get the credit he deserves for being one of the most clutch players of all time.
Kevin Callabro, from Seattle, i trully miss hearing ur play by play analysis. Legendary reporter.
4:45 been watching that game then i just jumped the heck out of my seat when he dunked at that aged. Milwaukee Buck Ray Allen just warped out from the past!👊
Before Ray Allen was known for making clutch jumpers, he was known for throwing down clutch dunks
Much Gratitude
Man to see that super sonic court and them playing in that jersey almost brings tears. I miss the sonics
Honestly i got into ball around 2010 didnt know he was this raw
Young Ray was so athletic, he just glides so effortlessly
He's To Much Underrated
yep
Ray Alken should rep the Bucks in hall of fame induction, the battles he had with Allen Iversion , I see eastern conference I see a Milwaukee Buck there. much respect from 76rs nation.
Greatest clutch shot in nba history
Robert Horry says Hi
Casey Willette *Greatest clutch shooter in nba history
Giovanny Garica lol
@@giovannygarica275 meh that was game 4, Allen's was elimination g6
@@kevinjamesmartin7127 dont forget the one against Detroit either
Awesome 👏🏻 video and that buzzer beater ayy
incredible career
When he had his hair he was Jesus Shuttlesworth... Muthfuckas forget how good he was, not just a shooter, he became a specialist... 💯💯💯💯
this is the ray allen i remember.
So cool to see how his game evolved as he aged, we all knew he was clutch just don't sleep on his athleticism.
Amazing
Remember the 2001 east finals between Bucks and sixers. 7 great games, what a dispute between Ray and Iverson
When he has a hair his a dunker
When he become bald his a three pointer
Just like Jordan went from his Airness to the fadeaway king.
Wow! I didn't know Ray Allen got hops back in the day.
Before the video: If they don't put the clutch three from Game 6 of the 2013 Finals...
After the video: Better had...
That’s a really risky prediction, I don’t think I have the guts to say that should be on here
That was one of the most important shots in NBA history.
Literally affected the ring count of Allen, LeBron, Wade, Duncan, Leonard, Popovich, and other legends.
The Heat Big 3 would've been seen kind of a bust if they only won one championship in their four years together. It also justified Allen leaving his friends on the Celtics.
@@thebasketballhistorian3291 A clutch rebound from Bosh tho
@@Vicente99969 YES!
Ray Allen is officially a Hall of Famer!!
My favorite player of all time
I actually never seen a Ray Allen dunk until I watched this video
In my opinion Ray Allen is the greatest 3pt shooter in NBA history.
Curry should pass him on the all-time list if his ankles don't snap first.
- All in all, I believe Allen is the most clutch 3pt shooter we have ever seen.
@Bo Ko I never compared them to one another
I’m a bucks fan but curry is the better shooter. Ray Allen is the most clutch, maybe other than Robert Horry
Tommy Schneider ray is more clutch but Steph is clearly better
He was a threat on all ends of the court but his Jumper was a work of art.
Clutch master ray allen 🔥🔥
The Ray Allen that could dunk on boys is underrated!!!
Man that dude could ball. Clutch
They started the video off with dunks, just to remind the kids that he could do more than clutch shooting.
Dude was a dynamic dunker, who just happen to transition towards one of the best shooters of all time.
The funniest thing about that famous moment at 4:16 is that after he missed his shot, LeBron had the nerve to seek for the ball back again.
To me he has the best looking form on a jumpshot ever!!!!!
Man Ray Allen fast running 🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️dunk are just unique retro sh***
3:16 that 3 is SO quick. The defender was right there and still couldn't stop it. Fuck that's impressive.
Jesus Shuttlesworth had such a smooth stroke and one of the most clutch 3pt shooters in history
Damn Ray Ray 🤭. I was ignorant to your bunnies
One of the best shooter in NBA history
Smoothest game ever.
Never knew he was a slasher. The only thing I hear about him is his all time great shooting.
Ray Allen is kind of underrated... Dude was a beast for a while, not to mention he did save Bron career in that finals series lol.
90s was one scary era in the NBA
Seattle Ray Was nasty. NBA Live 05 was lit for Ray Allen. Shooters all around squad and D Mason was out there ballin too?
Don't forget Rashard Lewis.
@@toppsecretpyro6274 when i was writing the post i couldn't remember his name. It was a couple other ppl who had that 3 ball icon on their name too.
I remember during his Celtics/Heat days, every time Ray Allen takes a three-pointers the announcers would go crazy and the fans or audiences would yell out "For Threeeeee!!!!" daamn, those were the times. Ray Allen is the Three-Pointer himself.
Ray was an underrated dunker
I remember the Bobcats Game Winner.. Celtics were on a big winning streak and everybody was sick of it.. and everbody thought it was finally over.. lol
He should've got uh ring in Milwaukee they had a squad
7 games vs AI's Sixers in the ECF, they should have won, they were clearly the better team. They swept the Lakers that year too, way better Finals matchup than the Sixers.
The problem was that George Karl cannot coach 😡
They definitely should have won that year
My favorite player of all time.
Mines too
Raymond Felton reaction.....priceless lmao
Real life slashing shot creator, thats tuff
sum of those announcers quotes are so iconic, they almost stick as much in my brain as the play itself like 2:22 "that was a cold - blooded - bomb" or 2:58 "Ray Allen for the game - got it at the buzzer AHOHO"
That Heat Spurs 3 still gived me chills
Nice player
Ray is my only idol in NBA.
Ray was a baddddd man
My favorite player easily.
The goat
Bucks/Sonics Ray Allen was a beast
He got game.🏀
Good video
The Goat 🐐
Time for a new Ray Allen tribute vid!
