you could try your camera pointing at the mountains to see if you could pick up any critters wandering about.
Pointed it at a bear a few hundred feet away, it was invisible, the beats fur is a great insulator. You could see it's snout when it looked our way

the Vesper clan pretty much all live in the area too. All their trailers are down VLA Road. One son does the heavy haul lowbed as well.

what would be your special trip? heading across country to Newfoundland, that would be an epic trip. especially if you can make time to visit different places on the way. My Daughter has driven to Alberta a couple of times, and i have flown into toronto from halifax, and i have driven to Quebec a few times escorting wind mil towers back to Cape Breton
We have done the cross country trip before on a month long vacation. I would love that trip, or Alaska, or Haida Gwaii
