    WWII was killing our troops. Less people than the beginning of the war, but food had to be rationed. The troops were lucky to get spam.

      @@VirSimuVintage With the U.S. government in everybody's business, I feel the inflation & shortage issues are getting us ready for what the government has next on their agenda...and it won't be pretty!

    My grandparents had been growing huge vegetable gardens and raising rabbits just north of Chicago since before the Great Depression, as have many millions of Americans before, during and after WWII rationing.
