I travelled from Garr de Lest to Vienna on the night train once, a fabulous and comfortable experience. Recommended!
❤️❤️❤️
There is also a direct train from Paris Gare de Lyon to Barcelona. From there the Spanish have built an excellent high speed rail network and you can go to Madrid, Seville and Valencia for example.
Train will be faster and has more scenery on the way🥹 and with discount the price will be affordable as well😂
We just came back from Paris, it was a dream! Just wanted to thank you for all the recommendations - for the starter, we listened to you and took RER from the airport to the Les Halles - it was really easy and our hotel was right there ( Novotel Les Halles - highly recommend to anyone who’s looking for a good hotel, and the location was superb!) We also ate at the La Jacobine and Le Louchebem, and ate chocolate and caramel from Jacques Genin, and more - all thanks to you! I hope you know how helpful your videos to us! ♥️
Bonjour... On my second trip to Europe I spent 2 months travelling all over Western Europe by train using the Eurail Pass...it was a magical experience. Thanks to your videos you go out of your way to show us and help us with our travel plans. Enjoy your day and merci...🗼🌃🕌
Indeed this is useful as I will be going to Paris for my CZcams videos
Yes, train is convenient in trip☺️ Hope the rail tickets bought in a cheap price can use🥺
These videos are so useful; always something new to learn about Paris. I can't imagine how much effort it takes to make just one of these episodes.
We just travelled back home from Gard du Nord and had lunch at Terminus Nord, what a buzz and I had the best value ris de veau ever.
Thank you once again.
Indeed there are always something new about Paris.the video is useful,I will be there in few weeks time
@@countryculture629 I'm envious, I can't wait to get back. Enjoy your trip.
What an amazing, informative and straightforward video. You have made us completely rethink our next trip to Paris so that we include some train trips to other cities! Thank you so much!
Going to the Paris for 3rd time within a year and this video gives us great ideas. Thank you so much ❤ You guys are the BEST. Can’t wait to see your next video. ❤
Definitely do ! Paris is like a total foreign place compared to other places in France, especially more countryside like towns !
This video was crafted to fit an incredible amount of information in a small amount of time. You guys are really good at doing this stuff.
I love and hate Europe. I was fascinated by the stunning scenery and rich history, but I was overwhelmed by the high cost. I think trainpal's discount coupon saved me.
Hello from Australia 🇦🇺 😊. I miss France so much 😢. All off Europe.
@@LesFrenchiesTravel love love love yr channel ❤️. It makes me feel like Im travelling again.
youre lucky mate...hope to go to paris with my sons next year...💙
5,000$ for two people from Australia to Paris it's so expensive
I love and hate Europe. I was fascinated by the stunning scenery and rich history, but I was overwhelmed by the high cost. I think trainpal's discount coupon saved me
We traveled through the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, France and the UK last summer using the trains and a few long-distance buses. What a treat! We saved significantly on fares, including what it would have cost if we bought the Eurail Pass (known as Interrail Pass for Europeans) by planning ahead and buying tickets as soon as they were available. Based on my calculations, our costs were one-third the price of buying near the departure day or using the Pass which often requires a reservation with a fee on top of the Pass. And I did the same thought process as you about the "cheap" flights - time to get to/from the airport, time to wait at the airport, plus the baggage restrictions. Although we travel carry-on only, many of the less expensive flights allow only one carry on item rather than a small suitcase and personal item.
Thank you for this…the next time I go to Paris I wanna take a day trip to Epernay. When I was in Paris last year I wanted to go so bad but felt intimidated. I was afraid to get lost.
Merci, merci, merci. I just arrived in Paris this morning and everything went smoothly thanks for your videos. And I was not afraid. Your videos game me confidence and good information for this solo traveler. Thank you so much.
Incredibly helpful, Antoine. As usual. 🙌
Thank you for this extremely concise and informative video. It really has given me a few ideas for travelling to and from Paris. x
Thank you so much for the care and effort you put into all your videos. This one is super helpful.
Thank you so much. Very useful. I do like how practical you are, plus I appreciate the added prices. Mille mercis!
Brilliant! You obviously put a lot of research and legwork into this very helpful video. Merci beaucoup!
Outstanding video. So informative. Very clear and concise. Thanks so much for sharing.
Thank you for another wonderful video, chock full of detailed and helpful information. Les Frenchies are superb!
I love travelling by train, so much less stressful than flying. I’m in Paris in April & then heading to the west of France by train of course. Love your videos & one day I hope to dine at Le Train Bleu.😋
Your videos are so well produced and informative. As preparation for an upcoming visit I consider your site a must see. Thank you for doing it so well.
Wow. So professionally done. You guys, train stations, food - what’s not to love?
merci beaucoup for this. I can say I have been to 3 of these - first time overwhelmed - but became somewhat comfortable on subsequent trips. You explained these very well. Thanks.
We went to Le Train Bleu in September when visiting Paris. It's amazing. You can just go for a cup of coffee and admire the decor.
Hi Les Frenchies. How are you doing? Great episode. I’ve used the trains from Paris several times as well as in Italy. Excellent in both countries.
I’m sad to say that my 15 days in Paris are finished. I’m stateside now at least In body but not in spirit. Great memories of my time there.
Just wanted to say that you mean so much to your viewers. You’ve become friends to many of us. I used your guide during my stay and enjoyed sharing updates with you.
I’m already planning a return.
Let’s hope for a healthy 2023 for all. Josef.
This was very helpful! I will be in Paris for 10 days in February & plan to go on at least a couple day trips. I didn’t realize how much I don’t know about train stations, especially in Paris. I also plan on visiting lots of your street food (cheap food) places & a couple of the “best” restaurants where locals go. You guys are a wealth of helpful info! Cant wait to explore!!
Your videos are so helpful makes everything easy to understand. It gives more options for anybody traveling to France. You guys are the best.
Fantastic!!! I have wondered about this and wasn’t sure how to find out. Very very much appreciated. Thanks
Absolutely love European high-speed trains. I second your comments on the train versus flying. Even if it takes a little bit longer, give me the TGV any day! I can fly in the US! Even if I wasn’t a total railgeek, taking the train is just so much more relaxing.
Gare du Nord is my favorite European station bar none, but we won’t be traveling through that station on our trip this summer. Since we are headed to Provence and the Riviera we will be leaving and returning via Gare de Lyon. I hear it’s a beautiful station so I’m looking forward to seeing more of that station.
I have been to Paris twice, and your info about the RER and trains would have been so helpful for those trips. Great info for my next trip. Merci!
I love watching your videos! I want to visit Paris again and with the information that I learn from you and Colleen, I will be equipped with a better knowledge of how to get around.
Brilliant video!!! Thank you so much for the information. You and your wonderful wife are a delight to watch and your videos are jam packed full of suggestions and excellent information. Very much appreciated - stay well 🤗
Even though my husband travels internationally a lot he was nervous thinking about renting a car and driving out of Paris. So when we arrived on a Sunday morning we took the train to Rennes and picked up our rental car there and continued on to Mt st Michel. Then a couple days later we dropped it off in Bayeux where we were doing our D-Day tour from. After that we took the train back to Paris. It was so easy driving in the French countryside! Worked out perfectly!
Taking an Audi Q8 out of the Sixt lot at CDG was one of the most stressful things my husband (with 99%ile spatial relations) ever did. The lot was built for small cars not a good size SUV and there were always 3-4 sensors screaming that he was about to hit something (he didn't.) Worse the lot was jury rigged and it had two sets of spike strips, but the signs weren't clear about which way would destroy your tires... we chanced it and it worked out. Next trip we dropped the car in Lyon and did the 5:30 hour drive back to Paris in 1:56 on the frecciarossa (not the TGV)
I’ll be taking the train from Paris to Milan in September. This was excellent information❤
Bonjour. We are planning a trip to France in a few months and I’m so glad I have found your Videos. So informative.
Merci beaucoup; c’est vraiment apprécié 😊 Ma conjointe n’a jamais vue Paris, et nous planifions aller en Normandie par la suite. 😊
Toujours excellente présentation. Fairly accurate and comprehensive. Very honest job. For sure helpful for many ones. Thank you for all of them.
Bonjour Antoine! Merci for this video very informative and very useful. 👏🏻👌🏻
I'm so glad I found y'all's channel! I love these videos!
Amazing and fullfilling video ! Thanks for all information

Great job, many thanks!
I'm going to Bayeux and Paris in 2 weeks, can't wait. Thanks for the awesome videos! 🇨🇵
Thank you for the videos! They have been extremely informative, enjoyable and essential in planning our recent trips to Paris. We also purchased the travel guide as well. Thanks You!
Thanks for sharing. This is useful to those traveling to France❤
Might be your most valuable video for non-newbees
Great video Antoine! You have inspired a day trip from Paris to Rouen during our upcoming vacation in Paris
Awesome video! Was in Paris and London for Christmas holiday. It was amazing and your videos were so helpful! We tried to book last minute Eurostar train tickets to London
on 12/24 but no luck. We eventually went to CDG airport and flew Swissair (terrible experience because the airline misplaced my luggage 😢)
Excellent advice as always - one exception to train or plane is (or might be depending on your actual destination) from Paris to Nice. The brand new train/tram goes directly from Nice airport Terminals 1 & 2 into the city. It's very fast and from Airport to the Port (the farthest point) is approx. 35-40 min. with approx. 15 stops along the route.
Great video ! Thank u so much !
So helpful! Thanks!
MERCI!! Thank u for sharing😍 Another useful content besides EuroRail offer video😌 Hope everyone enjoy their travel to Paris🚂
You are a legend your information is so helpful. Keep up the good work.
What an excellent video! This is so helpful and will be invaluable to so many people. Thoroughly enjoy your videos. Thank you!
@@LesFrenchiesTravel The town itself is so lovely. Our son is especially loving his time here. And although we all are enjoying the ease with which we can get to/from Paris, Tony and I miss living there. We move on to Nice Feb 6th and look forward to the warmer weather. Thank you for asking.
We hear you both lived in Florida when you were in the States, which is where we moved from. Where did you live in Florida?
Thanks again for all your great videos. You both inspire me (KJ) to improve our videos. Yours are so amazing 👏 I have sometimes thought we might run into you when we're filmong in Paris. I thought I saw Colleen on the moving walkway at Montparnasse on our way to the M4 last week. But it wasnt...😆 Just someone who looked like her. Take good care. A bientot 👋
Great video. Thanks for posting 👍
Going from France to Switzerland high speed it's called TGV Lyria, and from what I can tell it's a little bit of an upgrade in terms of dining of regular TGV. Going between Paris and Lyon you can also use the high speed Italian train frecciarossa. It has 3 classes including executive which only has about 12 seats per car, one per side. They look and feel like first class plane seats that recline and they rotate. I found the Lyria a little smoother than the frecciarossa, but the latter had better food and service. I heard them squeezing my orange juice (on a train at 300kph!)
Thank you so much for this video it is so helpful!!
Another great one! Merci
Great video very helpful will be saving it for my future travels
Great video. Thanks!
This is such a helpful video. Thank you.

Im so happy to find you on a yutube! We are planning our road trip in end of Juni to Normandie. We are coming from Innsbruck, and with our own car....(i hope we will not regret...🤭you both are the best guide!!!❤
Wow, very informative. Thank you so much!
Great video though just one thing to point out (at 04:00) there is now a direct sleeper NightJet service operated by OBB (the Austrian rail operator) to go straight from Paris Est to Vienna with various levels of comfort for the overnight journey 🙂 Also Gare d'Austerlitz is very handy to catch the "Intercités de Nuit" domestic sleeper services to places like Nice, Toulouse, Briançon, Tarbes, etc. Hope this helps and thanks again for such comprehensive content
👍🏻👍🏻
you guys are amazing. thanks so much very informative
Loving all your videos. I will be travelling to Paris from Australia in April and i am watching all you have to offer. Great work.
Hope you enjoy your trip! I would like to recommend a platform which has a discount😊

Fantastic resource. You did an amazing presentation - very easy to understand and follow.
Thank you
This was great. We are planning on traveling between Paris and London for Wimbledon this spring.
Excellent merci beaucoup! 🏆👍
Very helpful. In a few months, we will be taking the train from CDG to Strasbourg. The thought of navigating the aeroport to the correct spot is causing me anxiety!
Our previous train travel in France was to/from Gare de Bercy. It is so grim and industrial!
This is very good information!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank u !!!
Thanks for sharing God bless
❤ this video is so cool! In reality, I will never visit any of these pieces, and let along and do it on a high speed train. .Living vicariously through your blog.❤
Very helpful video! !st trip to France this May 2023!
this video is excellent
Thank you fir sharing.
another very useful travel video. just got back from europe using eurostar from london to brussels, thalys train to paris, then eurostar back to london. took an hour to get through security and customs at london leaving the UK, but at brussels you can show up 5 mins before departure if just traveling within EU.
Which is the best website or app to buy train tickets from Paris to Zurich?
Get well soon Coleen!
Thanks for all of this information!! I greatly appreciate!!
You are so welcome!
Bonjour,
I am trying to book my TGV tickets from Paris to Nice-Ville for this coming April. I am having a bit of trouble. It's a little confusing and challenging trying to understand the train systems in France and the subsiderary trains; I am trying to book my train ticket correctly from the States. Do you recommend a train website to book from?
Merci, Les Frenchies.@@LesFrenchiesTravel
Thank you!
This video is super helpful. What I like about your videos is they’re so practical.
