Can you even get the Air 3 with only one battery AND the RC2 controller (Like they are selling with the Specta Air)? Closest to this price I can see is the Air 3 with the RC-N2 controller and only one battery for $1,099 at DJI.
Yup, looking the same internally is not the same as being the same internally- big difference.

Wondering if dji assistant would pick up the drone and the rc2? Imagine flashing both with DJI firmware. Pretty sure they locked that out same way they did the battery. Very sure someone will find a way to root and flash, but why right? It is pretty obvious what DJI did here. In case of Dji ban and tariffs

Here’s my take… Cogito is owned by DJI. This is their backup plan to stay in the US market place should they get banned.

Because it's a DJI shell company lol.
They already manufacture components for dji and other tech firms. It's a marketing ploy with an inferior rig. The electronics are not the same quality, you can see they are different in the tear down.

Right off, I can tell the vision sensors are not the same samsung units. Many other components are not the same, looking the same is simply an artifact of the design. Check all the codes and you'll see I am right. The components will not be the same in most cases. You didn't show the imaging sensor but the output footage sure looks like it is not from a sony sensor.
If you say so. Flight performance is the same. Camera quality is the same. Range is the same. Obstacle avoidance is the same. At least from my testing.

I've watched the last two videos on this drone (Company). If this kit costs $600 then maybe, but it's hovering around $1,100.00? Why would anyone want to buy a knock off instead of the real product for a couple of hundred dollars more? You aren't getting a proven company's warranty and service. I'm not a fan of DJI but its a stable grown up company at this level. That's just my 2 cents on this and it's basically a knock off (a good one) but for the price point not worth it. Thanks for all the reviews on this drone.
In China everything is a Knock off some how. Talk to someone who has worked in China and seen the BS that goes on there. I have and It's Sickening.

@@dbldare That would be a reason if that was the case. To my understanding they are still being sold in the USA. I was at Best Buy shopping for an unrelated item and was surprised to see all the DJI section full. My issue is that it is basically a knock off and it's very close to the real deal in price. The warranty is not the same.
@@5thElementFPV I totally hear ya. My BB has a ton as well. However, the ban hasn't "hit" the consumer side of things.....yet. But they are pushing really hard for it. I think this is trying to get ahead of that 'potential' ban.
