We like Bergara in this household. We've been very impressed by the accuracy.
Awesome, Cheers
Glad you're still able to do what you love to do.
Cheers
Iam impressed with bergara, I have a b14 hmr in 300win and I love it
Awesome, Cheers
I have a B14 timber in a lefty bedded in a lighten composite Grayboe stock, awesome gun.
Thanks for all the information and great reviews. You and Sam have inspired me to take on the 1000 yard challenge with a rimfire. I've run into a bit of a wall at 900 with a hit ratio of 1/10. I think it's time for a better BC bullet. There is one item you may want to try and that is the Hornady steel target flasher. It really helps to see your hit's at the longer distances. If you ever make it up to Alaska stop by and we'll go shoot some iceberg ELR. LOL
Cheers
Hope to see ya stretch em out further someday 🤠. Thanks M&S ✨🇺🇲🌟🇺🇸✨
Cheers
Great shooting mate ,really enjoyed watching that ,i used to go shooting with my dad 20 years with a .22 but not of this quality, all the best
Thanks Man, Cheers
Another great informative video, I'm really interested in trying this set up. As you said great practice, low cost, and low wear over the center fire and still get muscle memory for center fire. Thanks for all you do.
Thanks Paul, Cheers
Great video. I run the same Bergara but in a MDT lSS xl chassis with a trigger tech trigger. It likes the CCI standard but I get better groups with SK standard plus.
Awesome, Cheers
22's are great fun! I have a CZ 457 and my friend has the Bergara, both shoot the SK Pistol Match extremely well and for cheaper ammo mine loves Eley Contact. Great video! 👍
Awesome, Cheers
I have two of thise, one carbon fiber and one steel. They shoot really well. I don't know about the velocitors, seem like I read they want chamber in a match chamber, but I could be wrong on that. Thanks Mark and Sam for the video!!!!!
They work fine, Cheers
If you have feeding issues get L3I magazines for the b14r. The bergara mags are designed for bergara chassis and cant have any play in them (different magazine catch heights in different chassis) or the last round or 2 will jam on feed. Just a tip. Take care.
Thanks John
videos are always full of good useful infomation mate, and, message for the algorithm.
Cheers Lee, thanks
Lol, I run a B14R trainer set up for PRS. Their a great accurate rifle. I have a quasi rimfire PRS course set up on the farm and only yesterday begun the process of registering for my first ever gun comp (at 55) at a SSAA regulated range.
Running a 5000 batch of SX long range through it which after trying a dozen different brands and types gives me under 1/2 MOA allowing me to run through your FTC target consistently at 50 and with regularity at 100.
I’ve done some work to my bolt, added a Maneal tuner, Arca rail and regularly push it out to 12 inches at 437 yards.
They’re a fun gun.
Awesome, great to hear, Cheers
I have the same set up and am extremely happy. Great review as always. Cheers
Thanks Rob
Nice to see you all playing it's great. I still have my Remington rifle that I shot back in 1975 to 1979 in competition heavy barrel wooden stock single shot with loading plate, peep sight closed in the front close in rear. No hook on the buttstock single Mount front sling could not be full sling. Shot three positions standing kneeling and prone. Distance 50 ft, 10 targets to each position the center which was 10 ring was smaller than a 22 projectile. Possible score for three positions 300. My average score for three positions was 297 . I shot with a team three other gentlemen. Well I don't know if we could call ourselves gentleman back then we started at 15 years old. 3 weeks before we would go to our national or or state championship with our practice time we would fill a three and a half gallon bucket with brass. trigger pulls on our rifles we're set at 3 and a quarter pounds we could have a 3lb trigger pull but when we checked in the rifles if there were a fraction under 3lb we were disqualified so we kept them set at 3 in a quarter pounds. Back then we had our driver's license the day of practice we would have to put our rifles in our cars and go to school with them when we get out of school we drive to practice. I sure miss those days when we had nerves of Steel and and eyes like a eagle best times of my life.
Cheers
If you encounter any ejection issues they can be remedied by staking the ejector, and lapping the extractor grooves/ extractor spring channels
Thanks Man, Cheers
@@markandsamafterwork No worries. Stay safe
I'm glad you got a good one that's working as it should.
We unfortunately got one that shoots 4"/100mm groups at 50m and bergara says that is acceptable and won't take it back and has been named bergarbage by us from now on and wont deal with them from now on ever again.
Ps great video and it does look the part in the acc chassis.
Sorry to hear, all the best, Cheers
I love my bergara b14r it is very accurate and it loves SK long range match ammo
Awesome, Cheers
People talk about.
Staking the ejector, or shims for ejector.
Bolt shims
Your trigger seat adjustment mod sounds interesting..
Cheers
CCI standard is great stuff, especially for the money.
Agreed
Damn. If you came to the states, you could clean house at the competitions.
Lol, cheers
Awesome, thanks guys
Cheers
Are you shooting the cci standard velocity straight out of the box? Im weight sorting my ammo. I've found that picking out the lows and the highs really helped the ammo. Then I shoot the outliers short range without problem. They shoot really well in my full custom Curtis Kreiger Mdt Arken setup. My wifes bergara doesn't like the cci at all. It does like the sk rifle ammo. Put a EC tuner on the b14r and then it will tolerate the cci. Over all the Bergara is win!!! Cheers!
Just out of the box, Cheers
I think may have missed it, why did you mount your scope so high? I was under the impression you want it low as possible. Your expertise is welcome. Both of your shooting skills are amazing. Thank you!

Good job guy's 🙂👍
Cheers Dave
Have your thoughts changed at all with regards to the Bergara for ELR and PRS22/NRL22 applications? Long term, how is the accuracy vs. the CZ? Excluding Voodoo/RIMX etc. is this the best .22 rifle on the market today? Did you sort the magazine issue? Thanks for the great content.
Yeh, still good, Cheers
Nice looking rifle
Thanks Ed
What part of oz are ya shooting?? SA man here
WA
@@markandsamafterwork Nice i never got over your side ,But living in Ireland for the last 20 years now, no guns allowed here ,unless in clubs ,will be looking forward to next vid 👍👍
Would putting a tuner in place of the muzzle brake possibly provide a avenue to more choices of ammunition for being able to tune to its sweet spot?
Seems to be a excellent system, and the versatility of the 700 footprint provides endless options.
Got me thinking I really would like one.
Thanks for sharing.
Cheers
You sure could, but not something we would do, Cheers
I've tried a tuner on my 22 and really not noticed significant improvement. The ammo is key. If the SD is too large you will see vertical stringing especially at longer distances
👍
👍
Looks like a good factory barreled action. Have you ever played with a 22 Hornet and heavier bullets?
We have a 17 Hornet, not the 22, Cheers
I wanna see how the new Lapua super long range or super precision I forget what it's call now drawing a blank but see how that works for y'all it's supposed to be extremely consistent for this type of shooting
Maybe some day, cheers
Hm, you have access to all kind of equipment. Can you test same barrel of different actions to see it it makes a difference or the barrel is more important? Obviously great shooting and you know it ;-)
I have the same access as you, I need to buy these things, so if helped $$$, yes for sure, Cheers
Barrel is the most critical part. That's why a T1 or CZ with the same IBI barrel will shoot the same.
@@markandsamafterwork Ok, I guess it was a stupid request. Thanks for your videos!
👍😊 🎯
Cheers Chris
What do you think about the Tikka T1x for what you call "mini ELR" ? Would you buy a .22 lr or a .17 hmr?
We have a video of one on the channel, but I do not make recommendations, Cheers
