Classic car automobilia - vintage garage signs, petrol pumps, accessories+ 1900s - 1970s memorabilia

1/2. 140x photos of automobilia (ie motoring-related memorabilia) such as old enamel garage signs, classic car accessories, petrol pumps (gas pumps), tins, advertising ephemera and more, from the 1900s through to the 1970s, feature in this slideshow video, the first in a two-part series.
Gems featured in this automobilia collection include old Shell petrol station signs, AA & RAC memorabilia, illuminated garage signs for Humber & Singer cars plus one for Commer lorries, Pratts Motor Spirit, vintage Tri-ang pedal cars, Shell & Esso petrol pumps and glass globes, old tins, oilcans and much more.
All the photos were taken by myself at shows, museums, autojumbles and such like. The collecting of automobilia such as that featured has a huge following, resulting in values for the best items skyrocketing in recent years. It's rare to find early motoring signs still in their original positions, but just occasionally you do find old road signs mounted on walls, in their original positions. Most of those that survive now though are in private collections and/or car museums, where many of these images were captured.
Being a fan of such collectables, I try and photograph whatever I find, which is what made this short video possible. Great signs I seen them in Lakeland museum and the one in Oxford. Cheers Bob
