This brand stab is really good
Sounds sooooo good! Only thing I did differently on mines, I did not like the sound from the silicone so after removing it and using masking tape 1 layer for the gaps and then foam it gives it a better sound I can't explain but your choice to give it a try!

Loved this and amazing job! Thanks for sharing. Looks like you got some flex on it too. I hopefully have a MOD007 on the way but am going to attempt to pair it with alpaca linears, durock v2 (alpaca edition) and black/pink Akko keycaps. First build but hope everything fits. Did you notice any knob wobble? I've read glorious knobs work with these boards too.
if you're using durock v2 screw in stabs, you will have to file the plate as the stabs won't be able to fit

Interesting, but I'm confused why you would take out that silicon once you poured it in? Wouldn't a layer of neoprene rubber on the bottom accomplish the same effect?
Do we specifically need to use teflon tape or are there any substitutes for it?

it actually depends on the switch not the north facing leds
@@orangeboiii. it does depend on the led orientation 🤣 most switches have interference with north facing and cherry profile

Hi tq , im not recommended to use too thick foam, 2mm is ok , and the fr4 plate does not have that very soft feeling..
For the pe foam mod you didnt make cutouts for the stabilizers. Did the stabs feel weird or mushy because I always see people make cutouts for the wire and stab holes

Any links to those keycaps? I've been trying to find dualshot clones that do not have the japanese sublegends
also , how were you able to put back the usb - c connector cable since the part where it fits is much more higher than before (sorry im planning on getting the same keyboard and im quite new to this keyboard stuff lol)

I was thinking of doing the same thing with the sillicone, does it interfere with the usbc daughterboard? I'm debating if I'm going for the fr4 plate or the aluminum one, what is the difference?

Fr4 and aluminum plate i don't know how to explain it to you. With my ears, I think the typing sound will be more concentrated and dull,
There is a slight difference in touch feel, not much.
I think if you try it yourself you will understand the difference ?

I only made one board right now and that got me hooked, got orders running for my next 4 builds haha! Now it's just figuring out how to make good keyboard content, but eventually that will work out!
