    • @tomiemyspace5054
      @tomiemyspace5054 Před 3 lety +1

      @@asmrnaturecat984 It is a mixture of both. Hindu mix with animistic. Just like Islamic practices still mixed with animistic and Hinduism after that. The natural practices - animistic - always influenced the one that have interest to keep it alive, like shamans or bomohs. They try to keep it alive due to their earnings depending on it by way of people giving them stuffs for doing protection ceremonies/rituals.
      But probably at that time it is true that the hinduism-buddhism did not influenced the sacrificial ceremonies of giving the blood to beaches. It is purely animistic.
      When people embraced Buddhism and/or Hinduism, some people think the animistic practices are due to Buddhism or Hinduism.
      Bali people are said to practise Hinduism but many of their practices have the element of animistic in it.

    But nowadays, i drive to kampungs to relax and enjoy, eat the kampung chicken, etc hahas...Thanks for sharing !
    BTW, ask the locals in Trengganu...if there will be a boatload of fishermen returning from sea using the colourful traditional boat.
    The boat will be pushed/pulled up to the sandy beach by sand.
    Loaded with all kinds of catches just below the deck....and the whole kampung will rush down to help unload.
    I saw that once, and you would be making a most fantastic video on that if u have a chance.

    Tak tahu drama popular apa yang shooting di Terengganu. 😅 Tapi kalau filem, selalu teringat filem Perempuan Melayu Terakhir (1999). Dalam filem tu boleh tengok Terengganu zaman 90an.

    Hi- I suggest you watch a 90s made Malay movie called PULANG. Its a tragic love story based on a real life account of a Malay fisherman who became a sailor travelling all over the world in the 40s and left his wife behind.
