the thing with Trump is, I think he is trying to add weight and gravitas to what he is saying but all he does is just repeat himself. It's like when you copied your friends homework but you changed some words up, so the teacher didn't catch on ... he is writing his own homework and then in the next sentence he is copying his homework but changing it up! Like he is doing the homework twice, once for himself and once for the bully who owns him AKA Putin....
So Trump has finally figured out that being president is a difficult job and you have to actually think about stuff.
