  • Another video kicking off at Lake St Clair with Nathan and I spending a two day camping trip at one of NSW best bass impoundment fishing destinations. It sometimes can be tricky fishing a dam when the season is changing. This two day event happened to be the last day of winter and the first day of spring which we didn’t know what it was going to bring. Some deep schools were shut off and some were fired up but it came down to fishing the edges in 2-4m of water which was the difference. The burn and kill technique on day two made the difference, burning the plastics across the top of the weed then killing the retrieve and pausing allowing the plastic to hit the bottom again and repeat. This technique was an absolute game changer - if you would like to know more than please watch the full video on how we went about our trip!

Cheers mate! And yes lostock is currently very ordinary fishing. I am personally going to leave it for about a year. Very small fish only getting caught and not many at all

Just look for the points in the dam mate they usually are always on most and the trees are a good start too. Anyway in the 4m-6m range

I love fishing, but 100 bass, that's for your ego not for fun. Let's hope they all survive
