      @@wellplayedfishing7809 I believe that bass in creeks and rivers fight lot harder than impoundment fish plus the places where you find them is a bonus

    If you want a good chatterbait replacement. Try a swim jig with a 4" plastic trailer.
    Evergreen grassrippers or geecrack rock Sniper jigs In 1/4oz with a 4" Irukandji Sicario should do you well. If you're fishing much deeper use a heavier jig.

      Cheers mate, something I haven’t used in the creeks. That and a small swim bait I think are next on the cards 👌🏽

    seriously underrated channel. any tips for dam bass fishing?

    • @wellplayedfishing7809
      @wellplayedfishing7809  Před 8 měsíci +1

      Appreciate it! Biggest tip in dams I can give is fish the points and depending on the time of year but a 2 or 2.5 inch paddle tail or grub plastics rigged on a 1/4oz jig head slow rolled back to the boat or kayak works nearly every time 👍🏽

    Nice session. Just curious about the way you measure your bass - up here (Qld) we measure them to the fork not to the end of the tail. Your 47s would be 45s in Qld. Is it a NSW thing?

    • @wellplayedfishing7809
      @wellplayedfishing7809  Před 8 měsíci +2

      Cheers mate! Yeah I don’t know if it’s a nsw thing or not but I’ve always measured fish to the end of the tail - longest part of the fish I guess and it’s how fisheries ect measure a fish but I know some comps measured to the fork but I think it’s just how people were brought up to be honest

    The noikes are the business I think I’ve nearly got all the 1/4 oz colours and that’s what I’ve been catching my fish on and I’m only up the road in Muswellbrook. What grub you running on the hook?

    • @wellplayedfishing7809
      @wellplayedfishing7809  Před 8 měsíci +1

      They are so good! I don’t think this session I was using a trailer but I think Elijah was, might have been one of the old savage gear curly tails but when I do I usually go a 2inch paddle tail, any will do 👍🏽
