  • The new Parapera Anemos frame is a dream made of carbon for every gravel biker. The Parapera Anemos Gravelbike carbon frameset offers with integrated cable routing and low weight the perfect basis for a Road Bike Channel Dreambuild video. For the bike build we only used the best parts from Campagnolo, Rennstahl, Falkenjagd, Parapera, Pirelli and Selle Italia. The 13-speed Campagnolo Ekar gravel bike drivetrain offers a wide range of gears with low weight. Campagnolo Ekar disc brakes are a must on this dream bike. Wide Pirelli Cinturato gravel tires spin around the Campagnolo Shamal carbon wheels. A Falkenjagd titanium luggage rack makes the Parapera Anemos Gravel Bike the best bike for commuting, bikepacking and long endurance gravel adventures. In the Dreambuild video you can see step by step how the extremely light Parapera Anemos carbon gravelbike with luggage rack is built.
    The Parapera brand was only launched in 2021, but can fall back on decades of experience in the construction of high-quality steel (Rennstahl) and titanium frames (Falkenjagd). Years of development have gone into the current Parapera Anemos carbon gravel bike. Parapera has already received the RED DOT Design Award. You can find more information on the homepages:

    Clamps for rack mounts?

  • @GNX157
    @GNX157 Před 2 lety +1

    A suggestion for future builds. Start bring in the Park Tool disc brake flat mount surfacing tool, and check each bikes alignment of the mount to the wheel axle. Also maybe a derailleur hanger check as well. A good number of bikes have both alignments off right from the factory.

    I wish i can take that home

    12:26 is that really a good idea? In case you get some cable stretch or something there is no cable left which you could use to pull on to increase the tension again while loosening the fixing bolt and when the fixing bolt gets loose or needs to be opened you can't get the cable back in e.g. you have to replace the rear mech after a crash.
    It looks neat, but this is one of those things you probably regret later on :D

      I agree. Total bs.

      If there is cable strech which can't be dealt with the barrel adjuster at the rear mech you can still screw it all the way in, open the fixing bolt and tighten the cable again with whats left. We tried, no issue there.
      What did you mean by replacing it after a crash?

      @@roadbikechannel If you have to replace the rear mech, I assume you would stuggle putting in the very short cable.

    What kind of tool are those little metal plates used for the disc break caliper alignment?

      @roadbikechannel  Před 2 lety +1

      Just google diskbrake alignment tool, there are a lot of options out there which all work the same. There is one from BIRZMAN called the Clam.
      Pretty much the easiest way to set up your brakes

    I wanted to see how the gearing cable was installed but it the cut was all over the play and out of order so it was not really helpful.

    I'm not a disc brake expert, but aren't you supposed not to touch the disc brakes with your greasy fingers? 10:56
