This test is only if you want to saw with precision with a miter saw. (test is not for rough work). Tips and Test: Very important if you would like to saw with precision. (avoid torsion as much as possible)! Always choose a Miter saw with a handle positioned in a vertical line above the saw blade. Everything must be aligned, slide rails, handle, and saw blade,it is much better this way the blade will not tilt. Because there is some torsion in the aluminum housing . And choose an engine with softstart on it to prevent wear of the gear and worm shaft. It is very important that everything is aligned. Here are some examples to show how the handle must be positioned above the blade. Bosch gcm 800 sj / Bosch gcm 8 sjl / Evolution rage 3 / FESTOOL KS 60 / HITACHI C12RSH2 / FESTOOL KS 60 E KAPEX / Metabo KGSV 72 Xact / Bosch GCM 8 SDE (This also is the case with the Miter saw without the slide rails). If you want you can test it yourself at home if there is torsion in the aluminum housing. Step-1. First you make a clean sharp saw cut from +-5 mm deep in to a nice flat piece of wood about +- 20 mm thick. To this with the normal handle positioned on the right side of the Miter saw.
Step-2. Then repeat this by pushing the saw blade down with your hand (finger) on the aluminum protective cover were the saw blade is cased in. Just now only do this without the running engine. Step-3. Now you can see if the saw blade will be positioned in or next to the saw cut. If the saw blade is (+- 0,2 / 0,5 mm) next to the saw cut then there is torsion in the aluminum housing. Step-4. Therefor it is much better to choose a Miter saw with the handle positioned vertical in line above the saw blade. The second option is the handle positioned horizontal in line above the saw blade. Step-5. When you measure the vertical angle square (Digital level box) of you're sawblade don't forget that there is always some torsion in the aluminum housing. Conclusion: how further away the handle is from the saw blade how more chance of torsion in the aluminum housing.(don't go for that). Also with a cheap slide miter saw it is still better the handgriff a above the saw blade than on the right side. Maybe they will make it someday then we have a winner...

Hi. I have a Bosch GCM 12 GDL, and I love it. The only thing I am not satisfied with on my miter saw is that, no matter how much I adjust the precision, when we fix the angle with the locking knob, there is a little deflection, which does not leave the cut in the precision that I would like. Или ты привык верить всему написаному, а сам не в состоянии анализировать и вникать в механику и механизмы. Или тебе нужно все разжёвывать? У любого механизма есть люфт, и чем больше сочленении тем больше люфт. Еще один пример, механические часы не имеют такой высокой точности, как кварцевый механизм. Так как много шестерёнок, и каждая имеет незначительный люфт, так как слишком плотно подогнать, механизм заклинит из за воздействия температур и изменений температур. Так как не существует на земле идеальных условиях у всего есть допуски. Кстати механические часы ходят точнее, когда они либо только на руке или когда сняты, если их снимать и надевать, то перепады температуры влияет на их точность. Потому, не умничай тут и комментарии я не читал, так как большинство комментариев пишут люди далеки от понимания механизмов.
Congrats! I bought the same saw a couple of months ago (North American version) but it does not have a laser. I'm jealous! Otherwise, it has been a great saw.
Unless you are cutting a lot of very wide boards, I much prefer a simple drop saw with no rails, particularly in a workshop. The rails take up so much room, and my Hitachi/Hikoki saw cuts 6" boards no problem. For the rare occasion I cut something wider, I just cut, flip the board and cut again. Added benefit is price, drop saws are usually cheaper.
cool. But what about the accuracy of the cut? is the set slant slope every time correct, repeatable? It is said that 95% of the slashes on the market are suitable for cutting firewood, not for precision woodwork.

I already have the stanley sliding miter saw but now i want this when i used my stanley only for 10 or so times lol. Thanks for poisoning my brain now 😆😆 The stanley one i bought for 3.5mio in my currency and the bosch one i just checked and it costs 7x more. Crazy

I always find it a little funny when I see a review video only to find that it's an unboxing and then a very limited short run of flexing the saw and some cuts! I did have this saw and found it to be a stunning saw to look at but unfortunately dreadful to use, I endeavouredmto true the mitre saw a number of times but not one time did the Bosch saw offer an exceptable cut! In the end the saw was returned and I purchased the festool kapex, am I saying the kapex is perfect, know, but it does offer cuts remarkably better than the best cut the Bosch mitre saw had to offer, Bosch when contacted never at anytime offered me an alternative or any advice regarding their saw so I moved to festool for my purchase base here in the UK.
BOSCH GCM12GDL лучшая торцовка по дереву на строй площадке, где полёты и прилёты досок нередкость. По опыту угодила одна такая 5метровая доска прямо на направляющую. Протяжной механизм "стрельнул" вперёд , торцовка со столом качнулась, чуть не упала...какое же моё удивление: даже настройки не сбились. А если бы была обычная пила с простой "трубчатой" протяжкой, то всё ей бы пришёл конец. Жёсткость,стабильность, точность и лёгкость хода ( несмотря на её тяжесть) протяжного механизма, меня до сих пор поражает (6лет в эксплуатации). Есть и недостатки: 1- при пилении пазов, не даёт точного пропила, глубина гуляет аж до 3мм. в зависимости от давления руки на ручку торцовки. 2- очень пыльный, даже с пылесосом, хотя можно доработать. Если бы мне сейчас предложили выбрать для себя торцовку: я бы однозначно выбрал бы её BOSCH GCM12GDL

Повторяемость угла в первую очередь зависит от люфтов протяжки ( самое сложное в конструкции исполнение) и второе от жёсткости фиксации угла (что может быть проще винта с гайкой). Я сомневаюсь, что BOSCH потратив миллионы на протяжку стал бы экономить на копейке. BOSCH GCM12GDL в столярке отличная и исключительная торцовка!!! (По опыту пишу). Недостатки повторюсь: пыльная и точность глубины глухого паза катастрофически никакая.
@@user-fx7ic1tw6d это плотницкая пила. Нет четкой фиксации угла(присутствует люфт в пол градуса. Пока ручку не закрутишь.), для столярки недопустимо. Это связано с особенностью конструкции фиксирующего механизма. Лимб регулируется через жопу... На протяжке люфтов нет, я же писал. Фиксация поворотного стола, вот тут косяк. А следовательно и повторяемости нет. Хотя это уже кому какая точность нужна. Макита ls1219, dewalt 780, festool kapeks 120 - механизм фиксации реализован намного грамотнее(в паз лимба входит клиновой штифт). Фиксация 100% при каждом перестроении, без люфтов и дополнительном затягивании ручки.
@@drovosekdrovosek7346 всё познаётся в сравнении. Я на ней только работал. Другие чтобы узнать надо целый день интенсивно и постоянно поработать. Градуировка лимба мне больше всего у Капекса понравилась, не нужно напрягаться для выставления угла наклона (тем более вращением ручки, класс). У 780го менее чувствительная к свету система XPS. У каждой пилы свои +и-. У моей BOSCH GCM12GDL точность фиксации исключительная (может мне такая попалась), люфта абсолютно нет (там в паз вставляется фиксатор в наиболее повторяемых углах). Я не знаю, может давить со всей дури вбок (не рабочее направление усилия) чтоб постараться сделать люфт пилы по отношению стола.. А что касается точности, то она всем нужна максимальная. Я повторюсь, свою испытывал на площадке, но изделия делал столярные, десятку выдерживает, может быть сотку.
The only reason why I bought this Saw 4 years ago ago it the flat backside and the 12” blade. I would not buy it again. Dust is all over the place and the arm flexing when extended.

This is a decent framing saw... Not at all for fine wood working. There is so much side to side play, you can never trust the squareness of your cut. Unless I just got a bad saw...

Single bevel and limited slide. I like my Kobalt better with the dual bevel, slide, led shadow mark, and light weight, portable and best of all cordless 24v battery, brushless motor.

For the money it's the best on the market. The dust collection is poor though. If you want to spend double the Festool is quite good.
Хотел такой Bosch, но взял DeWALT DHS780, так как:
- 6 осевая протяжка имеет больший люфт, чем классическая.
Чем больше сочленении, тем ниже точность.

I feel the laser is quite off, i always reference off the blade so not sure your missing a lot.

It works ok not super precise to makita counter part but its maintainance free on bearings, sliding linear bearing tends to acumulated dust and rust.

초기 출시되자마자 써본바로는 문제가 좀많 습니다!
부드럽고 공간 덜차지하고! 레이저는 금방고장날테고
각이 간옥가다 안맛음 톱밥 배출구는 의미없는 포지션 입니다
그림자 방식도 가까이 내리지 않으면 의미 없어서 그냥 날 내려서 확인해요
레이저나 그림자나 그냥 보조 수단 정도인것 같습니다.
배출구는 개조 좀 해보려구요

Нет не погорячились. На стройке эта торцовка самая, самая лучшая. У меня такая с 2014 года. Любая бы, с обычной протяжкой загнулась.
От задач зависит. Это плотницкий инструмент, не столярный.

가격도 가격이지만 덩치도 크고 전용 거치대까지 있지만 무게도 상당해서 이동이 싶지 않아요...그러나 작업범위가 타의 추정을 벌허하고 성능은 뭐 말할필요도 없죠.. 구입 축하드립니다(구형하고 안전커버 올리를 방식이 조금 달라진것 같네요)
