2) Following are the features of the central highlands:-
●The Central Highlands is a part of the Peninsular plateau that lies to the north of the Narmada river, covering a major area of the Malwa plateau.
●They stretch from the north-west .
● The region is wider in west and narrower in the east.
● The river in this region flow from southwest to Northwest.
●The eastward extensions of this plateau are known as the Bundelkhand and Baghelkhand.
●They are drained by a number of rivers, including the Chambal, Betwa, and Son.

2) Central highlands slopes from Southwest to Northwest.
3) Chambal ,Sind, Betwa and Ken are 4 major river system here which flows with Central Highlands
