the reason it was quiet is because the students in belgium have to study for their exams in june. I'm from belgium myself so I know and I also know how busy it gets on a normal saturday

The radja river is one of the best rapid rivers in Europe and definately the best in the benelux. Alot of effects and water streams weren't on when u rode it, theres supposed to be smoke and lasers in the tunnel, a waterfall sandwich thingy wich makes you very wet and a really rough part with high waves at the part where u hitted the other boat. Sad that it was not on because now people will think its a bad ride but its actually really good.

Yeah he's right in the summers that i've been there and even during halloween ( which i really advise as a time to go to this park) it allways got me soaked so it was strange seeing it this way. And about the halloween Walibi Belgium has one of the best halloweens in Europe in my opinion really cool madhouses! And scary atmosphere especially during the nocturnes. Great vlog as always!
My favourite Shawn quote when the mascots walk past after the madhouse he says 'come on they're on 8 euros an hour' 😂😂😂

I've been to Walibi! My stepdad lives an hour away from there and I love the theme park! I visit Belgium at least a few time a year and I love it!

i remember walabi from when I lived in that area. also loup garou is werewolf in French and that's what I always called it. great vlog aswell
If you score enough points in the Tutankhamon dark ride you will get an extra chamber unlocked with the Seth endboss. If you defeat him you will get acces to the treasure chamber.

In 1997 Psyké Underground, back then called the Sirocco and still outdoors, had an accident.
The train didn't had enough speed and got stuck on the backwards run, upside down at the top of the loop.
27 people had to wait 1 hour 40 minutes before they got rescued.
Not much fun with those lap bars, but luckily nobody got hurt.

Looks like you boys had fun! According to Wikipedia, Psyke Underground used to be a flywheel launch (as opposed to the weight drop launch) but was upgraded to LIM launch for 2013. They obviously left the old fly wheel mechanism in there as part of the queue line attraction. Would love to know if you can feel the difference!

Ah Calamity Mine. I remember when I first started playing RCT2 when I was about 7 and I was terrible at building custom designs so I would literally just plonk that in the middle of my park 😂

Great vlog. Can't wait for the next one. Psyké Underground Is now a LIM launched coaster with new trains from your best friends at Gerstlauer. The flywheel mechanism you see in the queue line is just for your visual enjoyment. Obviously you knew all this already because you research the coasters before you ride them. Also, your chocolate was made in Germany. "Gerpruduceerd in Duitsland" = "Produced in Germany"

I visited this Park a couple of months after Psyké Underground reopened rethemed. It was absolutely fantastic.

Well the launch system you see in the queue of the Psyke underground isn't actually used anymore... It was the old Schwarzkopf launch system but it got replaced with an LIM launch system when the ride was updated by Gerstlauer in 2012 I believe. It's just there as a tribute to the past now

Hey guys i'm from belgium and with the pulsar they managed to do that with the splash by only filling up the water tank at the very last moment to get that big splash , it's just that splash bit that gets filled up :)
Radja River is such an awesome rapid! When you were there, many of the effects were out. Otherwise you were too wet. Please come back in the summer and you will see that you get very wet!

Great Vlog!
The indoor Shuttle Loop would be sweet. It used to be flywheel (not the weight drop), but turned it into LIM after the refurb. Not sure I'd like the LIM version though, it's prob a lot smoother acceleration and I liked the forces of the older flywheel. Montezuma's Revenge was one of the first coasters I ever rode and I've also ridden Tidal Wave (formally in Great America, Santa Clara, CA) which was the weight drop version of the Shuttle Looper, but Tidal Wave would hit the breaks as you came through the station backwards which REALLY was annoying. It's a shame there are so few left standing. Now, they were no Arrow, but they produces some great coasters!

All students in Belgium do have final exams right now, that does explain the quietness in the park. Queue times get really long when the weather is right and when school's out.
I'm pretty sure the interactive dark ride has some bonus sections if you score enough points/defeat the boss, so the interactivity has a point

and in juni we still have exams so thhats why the pzrk is empty now but in july and in august the park is one of the most booming theme parks from belgium.

I love how they are joking about how bad Vampire is while still in the unknown about how bad El Condor is. Especially as they just felt harassed after riding El Condor.
The thing about Psyke Underground is that it didn't just recieve the new theming a few years back, it also got an LSM launch system and a new train by Gerstlauer. The turbine you saw in the queue line is no longer in use.

Sadly I have not been here yet, its on my list for the Schwarzkopf. Psyke Underground is now not really a true Schwarzkopf any more. Still it being there is reason alone to come and visit. For the 2013 season the flywheel launch was replaced with a linear motor launch by Gerstlauer.
Still unless people make to Knotts Berry Farm, Japan or Mexico you are never going to experience this epic launch coaster. Its amazing how you feel like you are launching on Stealth with the crude and gut wrenching technology from the 70's.

Wonders if you would return to it in 2018, when they reopen the overhauled waterpark and a new coaster.
I would like to return to the park at some point soon, I look forward to seeing the future developments

Amazing vlog Shawn :) BTW I looked at Psyke Underground on RCDB and found out that while the old launch-cable is still on the ride, it's not in use! The roller coaster got a LSM launch when it was transformed into Psyke Underground. That also explains how the train rolls a little forward before launching. The old launch turbine is only there for theming purpose! btw there are six surviving Shuttle loops! This and Montezooma, one in Mexico, The old Thunderlooper which is now in Brazil, Golden loop in South Africa and one in storage at the American Joyland Amusement park. Just some facts ;) Hope you dont mind.

a theme park game that you should check out its from the makers of rollercoaster tycoon and its in alpha atm its called planet coaster i would suggest checking it out because it one of the best theme park games i have played and its only in alpha
