- In the final vlog from our road trip we head to Walibi Belgium, a theme park that's currently undergoing a huge transformation over the next few years. In this vlog we check out all of the changes since our previous visit including two new family roller coasters, an interactive dark ride and much more.
This vlog is full of on ride POV's from all of the major rides at the park including Pulsar, Loup-Garou, Vampire and much more. We also check out the parks new ride for 2019, Popcorn Revenge and share highlights from this heavily themed new dark ride.

brief summary:
-The current Far West section will be next in 2020. There comes an interactive water attraction of the twist 'n' splash type, by Mack Rides.
- A year later, a refurbishment for the area at the Weerwolf and Vampire wooden roller coaster follows. Both attractions are given a New Orleans theme, with voodoo influences.
- In 2021, walibi the mega coaster will open you talked about in a new African theme area on the edge of the park. It is said to be the largest and fastest roller coaster in the Benelux.
- The intention is to open a new family attraction between 2022 and 2023. The zone around the Flash Back waterway and shuttle coaster Psyké Underground will then have a port theme. In addition, Aqualibi swimming paradise opens new slides.

It's my homepark too! Pulsar had some technical problems at the time so they had to shut it down often during the day.

They...... they do though......
They do indeed, my love for Gerstlauer has grown very much this year!
They have made some pretty good coasters, almost all of their infinity coasters end up being the parks best coasters and their bobsleds look quite fun.
Walibi Belgium is a good themepark for families and walibi Holland is for the thrill seekers. Because of that I like that they are going with different concepts for the parks
With the new mega coaster that is coming to this park, that will add some thrill to park
I feel like both parks are thrill seeker parks. But i do agree that walibi Belgium is more family based.

It's refreshing to see a park actively trying to improve its theming through expansions and new additions. Usually, it's the new stuff that breaks up a park's theming. I'm looking at you, Discoveryland!

I honestly think Loup Garou might be better off with a GCI re-track. There are not many Vekoma woodies so a GCI renovation would make it smoother and keep the Vekoma wooden coaster type alive. Plus, it looks quite tight for an RMC conversion

Loved the look of Werewolf (doopdedoo or whatever it was called) - even before the potential for an RMC upgrade, it looked a really fast paced out-of-control ride!

This is my childhood park, it's nice to watch your vlogs from it. I was there in the six flags days.
Vampire can have 2 trains, and last time I went operations were fantastic.

In 1997 when Sirocco, now Psyké underground, had a very famous accident happened that remains known throughout Belgium when the train got stuck in the loop for hours. Also a small thing to say, it's pronounced Psyck-é underground, this occurs in the comics of Walibi as the underground train that leads to Shimmeria, a fantasy world.Thanks for visiting my home park, I'm happy you liked it and the future indeed looks promising.

Ive been on the Psyke Underground like 25 years ago when it was named 'Sirocco' back then. It was an outdoor coaster with a very rough/fast launch and the best looping the park has. In 1997 there was a small accident where the carts got stuck halfway in the looping and people hung upside down for over an hour. They made it an indoor coaster cause of neigbour noise complaints.

Psyke underground and flashback will have a new theme for the 2020 season. It will be called dock world, it will have a harbor theme to fit in with pulsar. And in 2020 they will theme the entrance too

There RCT2 Six Flags parks had so much charm, even more than the real world ones.
Compared to a few years ago, this park is definitely starting to look better and better with some good rides and theming. Hopefully this place has a good future.
so, ive just been to a local fair, and i had it to myself, there were 4 other people their with me and i had a solo ride on a sizzler, Miami wave and the oxygen (the inverting ferris wheel style attraction) it got to the point where we could go on rides for free and could reride anything

I am a bit nostalgic for the ferris wheel and train around the lake they removed. I really came to love watching the surroundings and just relaxing a bit. Nevertheless the park is clearly moving in the right direction with all the new attractions and theming. I don't like how money hungry they've become. The new owners definitely know how to run an expensive quality park, let's just leave it at that :)

I missed the Psyké Underground. Or previously the Turbine, or previously previously the Scirocco.. Altough I think that it used to be more intense with the Swarzkopf launch mechanism. :D
Yup: the original had a spinning drum and clutch mechanism, the new one is a linear motor. The old mechanism is more or less on display beside the que lines.
@@KayoMichiels Nice! I haven't been there in it's new Walibi periode. So it has been a while. But I do remember that violent launch. Secretly loved it... ;)
When I was like a small kid I went there when it was still six flags been here a few times but its been years since I last went, I used to not like this park at all but now its really shaping up to be Belgiums best park for thrills (nothing beats plopsaland as of theming)
And charlotte is kinda right walibi looks alot like ratchet and with a mix of jack of jack and daxter

I've been there in 2016,yet I'm seeing a bit of a difference on what the park looked like! Warewolf was actually a great wooden coaster and it still is!But the difference is I think the trains are different. Plus the themepark/amusement park didn't have as much people then ..
I've also never been to this park, even though its just 2h to drive.
This park seriously needs a new big signature coaster, most of the parks coasters are old and rough (SLC, Boomerang, rough woody)
I heard the construction of that Intamin Mega coaster has already started, I'll visit once its finished

Calamity Mine is one of my favourite coasters becasue last time i was at Walibi i was still a bit scared of rollercoasters but now if i went back i think i'd try some of the ones like Werewolf and Vampire

I wish I could literally see you there. It'll be right in the middle of the college football season. Try to go to a big game. There are big Universities in Orlando, Tampa, Gainesville, Tallahassee and in and around Miami. They are so much fun and so exciting. Hook 'Em!
Fresh off my "Sliver Dollar City" getaway. OUTSTANDING !!! Most picturesque park I've visited in the states. Had two days could have stayed a week I believe. Are you only doing Universal Studio's or will you be visiting Magic Kingdom as well?
We will be visiting all of the Orlando parks!
I really hope Werewolf doesn't get rmc'd to be honest. I loved Untamed, but Werewolf just doesn't need the conversion as much as robin hood. It's also always fun to have some classics around and it's still very enjoyable for families!
