  • Pork tenderloin is one of the leanest and most tender cuts of pork. That means dinner you can feel good about! Here are the basics:
    1.) Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F
    2.) Remove the silver skin from you tenderloin
    3.) Season both sides as desired with favorite flavors
    4.) Heat oil in a skillet on medium-high
    5.) Cook the tenderloin 2-4 minutes per side (8-12 minutes total)
    6.) Transfer to the oven (in an oven-safe dish!) and cook for an additional 12-15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reads 145 degrees F
    7.) Let it rest 3 minutes
    8.) ENJOY!

    • @nationalporkboard
      @nationalporkboard  Před 3 lety +1

      If you want to roast in the oven, we suggest 425 degrees F and cooking it for 20-35 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees F.

    Should pork be pink??

    • @evilwaysfighter
      @evilwaysfighter Před 6 lety

      BrokenLifeCycle not really but its the temperature that really makes it safe anything that can hurt you is cooked off at a specific heat so i doubt a tiny bit of pink would last once rested id assume it would be fully cooked as it comtinues to cook until the temperature cools down

      Fresh pork whole muscle cuts like pork tenderloin are safe to eat when cooked to an internal temperature of 145 degrees F, which will be a blush pink color. Doneness is personal preference, but just know it will be safe to eat at 145F!

      @@nationalporkboard I’m guessing this was even above 145° as it was 145° in the oven, and the temp. likely rose more as it rested. It looks perfectly tender. It needs more seasonings or a nice pan sauce. 😊.
