What an interesting & beautiful mix of hardy tropical plants, amongst native plants… so it has a jungle ambiance with the insects, birds, and frogs. Just amazing!
Steve's tree-mendous! I got a Live Oak seedling from him around 2008. It was the size of a pencil. Today, it is two stories tall with a massive trunk. The squirrels love it! Couple comments on the video... The Magnolia grandiflora looks like a straight species and not a cultivar. I always appreciate when a gardener goes for the most "natural" version of a plant. I was hoping to see a mature Sabal palmetto somewhere on the grounds, figuring that if anyone could pull it off, Steve could. Thanks for the tour!
Steve is such a nice guy and has an amazing garden, incredible!
Stunning
Lovely garden
That garden is stunning ,thank you for sharing 🙏🇺🇲many Blessings
What area in NJ is he if you don't mind?🇺🇸
Palm pioneer of the north! I never realized how big his property is! How much land is he on? Almost looks like a botanical garden.
I forget but I think it’s a minimum of 6 acres
I love the Sabal minor next to the mahonia. That’s a prehistoric looking combo!
1:51 is that variegated canna in the center there? Would you happen to know what that might be? Thanks.
