This guys knows how to make teaching to be more simple... i like the way he teach... but the show was fire🔥🔥🔥
This is what we ought to be watching on TV, real life issues rather than the crazy rhetorics of politics in kenya year in year out.
Kingori will say on a serious note and become more unserious 😂😂😂😂😂
This guy is educating those of us who don't know these things however Kenyans with their know it all mentality are commenting negatively

@@timonwasilwa8365 😆😆 he's bright
Naah, you just need to exercise yours. Besides if you were locked in your home from birth to 18 with computers what do you think you'd do
Wow
This thing is kinda dramatised. I doth think our hacker guest takes far too much credit- without explaining to the audience that getting into that laptop he hacked was easy because the machine's owner and perhaps the network admin of the network to which both computers were on were neglected some very basic security precautions. In other words, as far as the demo goes, the "hackees" ignorance is more to thank than the hacker's skill (no disrespect meant). Also, this assumption that he "can hack anything he wants" is untrue and borderline fantastical (long story this one). That one can find out a lot about a person's life from their digital footprint and then exploit that is very true, but only to a point. In short, having some basic measures in place, some of which he does discuss, astronomically lowers the cost-benefit trade-off even for a powerful attacker such as a state actor....my two pence...
I believe every word he says, why?I have gone through a couple online trainings and they outline exactly what he says especially the laptop hacking part. So we can either decide to bury our heads in the sand and ignore him or take home what's he's saying .
@@mosesmukosiamakokha9085 I think you missed my point entirely. Simply saying: a few very basic precautions are enough to raise the time and effort he needs to hack your device by several orders of magnitude. You should change all your device passwords from the manufacturer default to very good ones e.g., for your router. Changing your password from your name plus date of birth to a non-dictionary phrase of say, 10 chars will raise the time he needs for a brute force attack (with good computing power) to more than 500 years. Having a security software installed will ensure he cannot get elevated privileges on your device or connect sans permission even if he is on the same network as you. So no, he cannot hack anything he wants- He can hack anything *that is not secured properly*, and securing your PC and network is very very easy and I wish he had shared that. It also helps to not use windows - all my stuff runs on Linux- even my home entertainment system. But then again, I am in IT.
John Shekeine , you’re right. However for wifi ,all he needs is to create evil twin then use social engineering which might take long or short time(Depending with how much information you give or expose).I support Linux since windows security is a joke especially if you’re not on latest security updates.

I found the book 'The Basics of Hacking and Penetration testing by Patrick Engebretson' and the Kali linux OS to be a good starter pack for those for want to learn penetration testing.
But let us be clear though, hacking a remote device incorporates some good social engineering skills (for his experiment, phishing) in order for the victim to 'give' you access. The Command and control he is talking about, I believe can only be accomplished by tricking the victim to click something (not talking of state actors though). That way you get to install malware on his/her device. Well, am still a novice but pretty much what he shared is basic.

@@rebelprime Parrot Sec offers many tools designed for web & computer Systems analysis including a lab dedicated to forensic digital use, with legally distributed tools and the ability to work with cryptography, offering a wide range possibilities. Parrot Security includes a full arsenal of security oriented tools to perform penetration tests, security and audits. I am always amazed at how mediocre our journalists thinking is, they display the negativity associated stereo typically with the black person. if a guest is strong "oh si you can beat everyone" here is an I.T expert a Phd at that but questions he is being asked "are you dating, does the other person have secrets" "oh si you can steal if you are ever broke" negative, negative. Same person in an international station would be asked about how big data manipulation can be secured, when is an electronic gadget really off , how did he attain his phd what other young kenyans can do to achieve the same, what prospects are there for a young I.T startup? things that make a difference in the society but noooo. In Kenya major media houses have made it look like cheating, promiscuity corruption and violence is what the best in our society can do. i know some of you will say but this is a comedy show! i would say yes but its fashioned in an analytic way, i mean it is fashioned in the likes of the daily show with Trevor Noah, and last week tonight with John Oliver. we laugh but also you get challenged. the budgets could be different but hey lets at least have some intellectual linearity.
He calls it comedy so no big deal
