For the first method you don't need to rest, Just fast travel back and start over.. Saves time.

You can cheese the cavalry knight at night time by standing on the outside edge of the bridge for ez 48k runes. Also, loot the graves he ran past, it's free runes.

Yeah this didn't work for me as soon as I rested at the grace it gave me a dragon heart and the dragon was gone...

You have to run back as soon as it flinches on the horse
if you attack its tail you will have a nuff time to get back to the grace to reset the dragon
for me it does that big flinch when i hit it and the rest of the health bar is yellow then i rest and i get the runes you just have to get that big flinch while riding your mount then instantly run and rest
This video came in clutch; originally bought this on Xbox when it came out and just had to rebuy for my PS5; totally worth it but losing my progress was not fun. Nice to have a quick way to get through the base game Iâve already beaten on Xbox
I also noticed it's rare but some nights the erd tree will drop leafs and you earn extra runes when it happens.
I followed the dragon tutorial using âscavengers curved swordâ which has a blood loss buildup effect of 45, worked for me and got 67000 runes for like 5 minutes. Very cool guide thank you
For the first method I use raptors Mist on a katana however be mindful that the ball mechanic will push you certain distance so do not stand too close to the edge or you will fall with the ball
As a heads up, it does not make the kill sound. So soon as it moves. Run to the grace, otherwise you'll only be able to do it once.

Much better early game or slow farm is the giants on the cliff next to storm Vail
Its more stimulating and there's 5 giants there so one run gives you 5-7k in pre ng+

I use the dragon farm with a combination of Night Maidens Mist and any weopon that procs bleed. Just get the dragons hp down enough to finish with NMM. Best part: you dont have to be near when you cast the spell. Usually takes me 3 casts and on the 3rd, i run back to the site of grace until i see the tail switch, then rest and repeat
Did everything like you said, went back and rested and the dragon was still there but I didnât get any runes.
Any third grace you touch and rest at in Limgrave will invoke the cutscene where you get Torrent, does not have to be the one at the Gatefront.
Confirmed dragon. Iâve done this multiple times and still have the dragon.
Been doing the dragon rune farm for a while now. Wasnât low-level and sold the mace when I first got it since I couldnât use it and was trying to upgrade for the Bloodhoundâs Fang. Thought I fucked up the first time because of the damage my upgraded Bloodhoundâs Fang does made me think I was able to hit the dragon a little more before having to jump on Torrent. Luckily, I hopped on and rested in time.

Works! I need around 36 flail hits (you can use the ashes of war without mana and it works). I count to around 30 hits, when the last bleed procs, mount up and hit the last attacks with normal R1 attacks and as soon as the tail flinches, I speed up to the grace and sit down. Full runes and the dragon is still alive.

â ââ ââ ââ ââ @@lkyonion9412You definitely can(just did) just expect longer swings and or more bleed damage. Once you get a small sliver of health left just get on Torrent and take your time with your swings so your stamina isn't empty when you need to run
A small tip to increase the efficiency of getting bleed on him, use the blood flame spell

Yea, I tried that, but it only gave 4k runes and when I got to the bonefire I had so many dang messages blocking it that I missed the timing lol

Liked and subscribed, exactly the video I wanted/needed. I've been playing the DLC in NG+ with my OP original char at level 177 and it just feels overly familiar and cheap. The quality of invasions is really lame at that level aswell, so I've decided to rerun with a new char with a completely different build. Hopefully your guide should expedite that process, and I'll be tormenting tarnished hosts in a brand new way in no time â€
Hate to say your lvl 177 isnt strong enough to one shot any boss in elden ring much less the dlc so get that ass to max lvl of 713 all your stats will be 99 an you will one shot if not two shot all bosses including the dlc ones
The golden scarab+ gold pickled fowl foot actually nets you more than a 50% increase. If youre wearing the scarab you get the 20% than by popping the fowl foot ontop of that its a 30% boost on top of the already boosted rune amount so it works out to 78K were a base +50% is 75%
Definitely a great video. Only problem is after about level 60 this is not worth it as its getting to that point you have to kill it twice per level. Bit definitely great till you can progress a little bit further to get the best rune farming spot before the dlc.
Unfortunately the best rune farm you need to complete the game yeah the bird/albtraunic is better and faster regardless it only reaches its max potential after killing the Elden beast and getting the sword đą
@@ytexeves actually no you dont. Just get to beating Radahn and get the weapon from his soul and upgrade it as much as possible then use that two handed. Its not as fast but still works great.

Yeah dude from lvl50+ it's not early game anymore. it's mid game+.
It's probably better that there aren't any farms that carry your bloody ass from lvl 1 to 100 easily.

Nice work, good to see we still have some solo options after the dlc update. For anyone with an online friend, look up the save duplication glitch, still works and always will. If you duplicate numens or hero runes, you'll have millions in no time
Do you actually need to go through the effort of getting Radagons soreseal? Or can you just put some points into dex to use the flail and then go to the dragon straight away?

I recommended getting the Reduvia first and rushing straight to the gigantic dragon.
OR do VARREâs quest and head to the mohgwyn palace and do the classic albanauric rune farming spot, itâs still around 50-60k runes per reset on a new game and takes a total of 10 seconds with certain weapons

I can't believe this actually works. Thank you for the video. It does become little bit stale and boring but I get 85k per run with everything applied together. Btw I don't think you need exactly 18 dex because I have lower than that, as long as he bleeds out and flinch it works either way for me. Finally I can stop looking for Night Cavalry bosses to fight for 40k each. 10/10 video

This does work you just have to be a bit fast with the dragon

I tried this glitch with the dragon and i had all my armor off so id be lightweight and as soon as the dragon twitched i ran on my horse and got thr the rest place as soon as possible it still fully killed the dragon
There is a morning star you can get way quicker to do this method a lot faster.
On the boulder method at the start you don't have to sprint back you can just tp back

Can someone explain to me why sometimes I get 9000 runes from the boulder method?
I did this and used poison mist. Stand at the save point and wait for the mist to kill. No chance to fail

For play station players press Triangle once at the grace site or ur character emotes and the dragon dies
Next up we need OP weapons and OP armor and OP spells for early game... and is there a way to get DLC new weapons and spells in the ``Starting area`` of the game?? Or do you have to be in the DLC new map??
Thatâs only possible in ng+ because you have to beat Radahn and Mogh in the base game and theyâre kinda mid game bosses.
You can get dlc weapons in the starting area by having a friend drop them for you, but to get the dlc weapons and spells, your going to have to get them the legitimate way
I think you can do Lenne's Rise a lot faster than 25s per ball? Lol. Simply open map and fast travel back to Lenne's Rise grace as soon as you hear the second "chime" noise (this is the runes being tallied I believe), rather than riding back up and interacting with the grace. Also, the spinning flail doesn't work for me on dragon? Anyone else dealt with/heard of this?

I had the same exact problem. Try it again, but give it one extra swing, when you do the tail will flinch for the second time and thatâs when you run back.
I kept running after the first flinch until I tried again.
I did it and the tail twitched and I ran back and rested but didn't get any coins but the dragon still respawned

Test today, it still works ((July 21 2014)
- 11:07 "fake flinch" and 11:09 "real flinch" (its tail flinch toward you). You guys should be on horse before this time. When "real flinch" 11:09 happens, immediately sprint back to nearby grace. If you do it in time, you will hear the sound "rune gain" before you rest. Afterward, you gain about 50k rune + no dragon heart + dragon still alive. If not, it means you do not make it in time.
Must have been patched. It just died for me at the low hp mark. Tail flinches and then it dissapeared while it still had hp left

I just beat the DLC on my ng+5 character and it was brutal. I wanna start a new character so I can go back in there and not be 1 shot by almost everything
Just reach the max lvl which is 713 all your stats will be at 99 you can literally one to two shot all bosses in elden ring an its dlc so just farm those runes an reach that lvl bruh
i went to the dragon farm but my dragon was not there (i havent killed it before)
Fun note for the first farming method, if you do the boulder dodge at night (in-game obvi) thereâs a chance that the boulder/enemy is a golden eyed enemy and nets you almost 9k runes.
Anytime of day, just an extremely low chance.
I did it on my own a while back before I knew how to get to Moghwyn Palace and it would spawn one of these special ones maybe every 70-75ish balls

As I saw the flinch I hopped on my mount, ran towards the grace and used it but didnt get the runes. After that I did the same thing a gain but waited for like half a second more used the grace and got the runes but the dragon was still dead đ. But its okay I'll just play without this farm, its too op anyway.
