  • "Superbike derived performance paired with the latest technology and all-day comfort allows the new GSX-S1000GT to deliver next level sports touring experience for both rider and pillion."
Bit longer than my usual reviews, I have tried to cover all angles, including having a passenger along for the ride, and answering the question: is the quote above from Suzuki's own marketing material, the truth?
Is this bike a significant improvement over the old GSX-S1000F? It's certainly not as utterly bonkers as its pre-cursor, but it offers a level of practicality and tech that that certainly did not.
There's a few little gripes and moans, and Suzuki certainly need to take a look at the mapping around 4000rpm regarding the otherwise effortless quickshifter, and maybe consider a re-design of the pillion grab rails. However, Suzuki has certainly delivered all round.
Is it as good value for money as the GSX-S1000F was? In my opinion, no. But it is comparable with its competition.
Regarding pricing, contact 5-Ways for more information, but it starts at £12,155 OTR, which includes the Government First Registration Fee and 12 months vehicle excise licence.

I took delivery of mine 1 week ago. I've owned a Hayabusa, FJR and others. The Suzi is nimble, smooth and fast.

I just bought the GT plus and the bike came with both windscreens and rear covers if I want to swap the pannier mounts and have a cleaner look.

Did it? Damn. Mine didn't. Just the short screen and the bags

What do Suzuki say about the screen? Any cruiser versions available?

I use the heated grips quite often once the roads dry out after winter , and the for price with the side cases, top box ability and the heated grips with active suspension all come as standard with the tracer GT , add all the manufactures own on the GSX and i bet that's over £1000 on top of a new tracer, i would imagine if they have the time they may look into other manufacturers

Seriously? At 5’11 you cant reach the cruise control when i can easily access it and I’m 5’5? Bruh?

I ride more cautiously when on something that does not belong to me, but even if I didn't it would be foolhardy to promote illegal riding on the Internet providing self-incriminating evidence, don't you think.
