- The variety of Roughtech rifle models keeps growing! The rough surface texture provides a solid grip throughout the stock in all weather conditions. Overall, there are three different Roughtech options in Tikka T3x Rifles; black, desert and this new Ember. A muzzle brake, with 5/8-24 threading is included for recoil reduction.
There are two fluted barrel options - stainless steel or blued. All rifles include fluted bolt and oversize bolt knob.

I'm new to Tikka... I heard just didn't have first hand experience. My first Tikka purchase... was the T3X in 7mm-08 Remington.
I took her home.. disassembled her... cleaned her.. mounted a scope.. grabbed three brands of factory ammo and hit the range. My first three shot group was no kidding .55 inches at 100 yards. Next brand was .63 inches at 100 yards. The third brand was 1.33 inches at 100 yards.
Needless to say... I'm sold!
My next rifle will definitely be another Tikka!

Have two Tikka’s a T3 lite in .270 and a Tikka T3X compact in .308, they are my favorite rifles.
What a gorgeous 😍 rifle for a non high grade walnut or high end custom stock rifle. Even though I have never owned or shot a Tikka I have always wanted one.
Got one in .308 win its a beauty and shoots sun moa love it its taken a few deer 🦌

Any idea when this will be released in US or MSRP? Dealers listed on Tikka website seem to have no real info.
According to three different people at eurooptic said Tikka didn't plan to bring these to the American market, and that they don't expect them to ever be here in significant numbers.

Can someone at Tikka or Beretta tell us when this is expected in the USA ? Beretta customer service department said they had no idea and that they learn of new products from the calls that come in from customers. What kind of Master Distributor is that ???
Will the EMBER be released into the US and when. Quite a lot of people here have an interest in the EMBER version but we cannot get ANY information from Beretta USA. I already have the Roughtech Desert in 308 but want an Ember in 300WM

Someone please help me with this question: I bought a tikka t3x lite roughtech in 30.06 20 inch barrel. Why does every other caliber except the .223 come in 22 inch barrels and over? Why is the 30.06 a 20 inch barrel?

Do you have plans to offer that rifle in other colors ? It’s such a perfect weight, balance, fluted barrel, and muzzle break is amazing. Add the 40” size it’s ridiculous compact, can I say more about a dream rifle. I can see a long future.

Why can't I find any of these in Canada?
Wish they would do a 6.8 western. 300 PRC and 6.5 PRC are ok, but 300 Norma seems to be a way better performer efficiency wise. I notice Howa is sold out everywhere except for in the 6.5 and 300 PRC that no one wants. 300 Norma in a Tikka would be a thumper to shoot.

I would really like to know when this model will be available in the US. If curious as to why a Tikka Rep will not respond as this question has been asked multiple times. I was not sure if this model was cerakote or stainless. It looks like stainless or blues. I’d love to find a stainless in .300 win

Would be great if you included the 280 Ackley Improved in your list of available chamberings? It would be simple to do since you already listed 270 and 30-06 as calibre offerings, the 280 Ackley Improved (hopefully with 24.3 inch barrel, hint hint from the 7mm Remington Magnum) uses the same parent cartridge/case as the 2 other calibers listed. Would be a reasonably cheap upgrade to the existing selection of cartridges/calibers. The 280 AI is growing in popularity in the American marketplace? Other manufacturers such as Savage, Weatherby, and Browning, just to name a few, already produce rifles chambered in this caliber.
I believe you can just change the barrel and bolt, grab a new mag in that cartridge and you are good to go with the 280 AI. I have heard from lots of people about how easy it is to swap cartridges on this platform particularly compared to others on the market..
Question:... is it the same exact stock as a regular Tikka T3x Lite and simply coated in a Roughtech finish, or is it a different stock altogether.
I believe it's a similar stock. It is inlet more for the semi heavy barrel though.
