Great review..I've had one for two months. Likes - So fun off road, comfortable, great stereo, pulls my little trailer like it is not there (my edge struggled). Dislikes - Push button shifter, no overhead camera, and that's it. Awesome car. Highly recommended!

What trim do you have where you have a great stereo?? I like the vehicle but honda steroes typically leave me disappointed, which is odd because Acura stereos are normally awesome.

Honda should put a short shift lever there instead of push buttons. It would be more intuitive and you can find it without looking.

Michael Ellman elite trim. Nice touch screen with plenty of pop. It was one of the biggest disappointments of my 2014 edge. Hard to upgrade a stereo in these cars when they’re new.

We just bought one recently and it's a great vehicle for my wife ,particularly in bad weather. I really like it except for the push button shifter. But otherwise it's a really solid well designed vehicle with loads of room. It really is a terrific choice in a soft road CUV.

I'm a fan of the set of "tweener" mid-size crossovers that range from about 188"-192" in length. Easier to park and maneuver in traffic than the larger 3 row crossovers that range from about 195" to 203". Easier to fit in a crowded garage and in my case much easier to fit in a garage with a hitch mounted bike rack that adds a foot or more to the overall length of the vehicle.
In my family's case with two adults a teenage daughter and a big dog we seldom need a third row of seats. But having said that there are times when we chauffeur a gaggle of teenagers or need to accommodate six or seven passengers that would otherwise require two vehicles when additional seating is a godsend. That was a major reason we chose the KIA Sorento over the Passport and other "tweener" size midsize crossovers. The Sorento is almost exactly the same length as the Passport (189" vs 190"). Nearly as much l cargo space behind the second row (38 cf vs 41cf) and total cargo capacity (73 cf vs 78.). A comparable V6 engine and drive train, and a considerably better infotainment system and features such as adaptive cruise control.
Honda has a well earned reputation for building good vehicles and the Passport is one. On the other hand we found the KIA Sorento was a better value.

    Driving the passport touring 2021!
Everything feels great - the drive, the size, the cabin space, the 2nd row leaves a lotttt more space than most of the other options in the market after you add a child seat!
Close to awesome premium music system.
Brakes are a bit on the lighter side.
The engine power feels for great. Some call it cabin noise, I rather prefer the engine roar!
If you drive a regular size car right now (I moved up from accord), this is going to feel like an upgrade to you, not crv or rav4.
The larger windows give maximum visibility all around. You sit higher in the cabin, good for some people not for all.
    Note:
If you struggle while parking what you have, then don't go for this, it's wider!

Nice video, but I'm afraid I could not go along with your comment on the transmission of Acura as I have one MDX 2011 and a Passport 2019 both now. In my view, its 6-speed auto transmission built for many years is as good as the 9-speed transmission that the Passport has right now. It isn't clunky or sluggish, but pretty fast and energetic. On the contrary, the Passport's 9-speed transmission doesn't meet my anticipation even it is built by Germany with the newest technology. On top of that, I didn't see any significant improvement on the fuel efficiency of this transmission comparing with the old school one of Acura MDX.

I own a 2020 EX-L, I think for it's size it drives like my Honda Civic (much smaller feel). It's actually faster, in sport mode, than my other Civic SI (lightly moded). It's the best crossover I've ever driven, just wish Honda would put a chain, instead of a belt, on their V6's (like the 4's). BTW, having idle stop set to ON as default is annoying.
